Having just gone through a recent change in chefs we were a little worried about the effect in food and service, but our fears were unfounded. Excellent dishes as we used only small plates but the mussels were outstanding and so were the tuna tostones and croque Mamey plates ordered. Lenin our server was excellent and left us feeling like we needed to come back. The place felt a little empty as Lenin described the wariness people have expressed recently with the chef change. But put your fears aside, this place might be better than before.

We had reservations for Easter brunch at 11am. At 11:30 they were still not ready. First they sat us (2 adults and 2 children) at a lounge type table. Table was coffee table and the chairs something you would have in a living room. Not appropriate for eating especially with 2 small children. When asked if there was another table, staff seemed annoyed. Had to go back to hostess stand to request another table. They didn't even offer to carry the menu to the next table. Didn't have hot chocolate as a drink option for the kids. Food was okay. No maple syrup out for the waffles. Very lightly seasoned. Requested salt that was never received. Also our sugar was removed from the table for another table. Apparently not enough sugar caddies for a brunch. Lastly no egg hunt or prizes as advertised. Double charged and have left 2 messages for the Finance Department of the hotel because no answer at the restaurant and the mailbox is full.

Save yourself the disappointment, the time and money. This place is absolutely terrible! The menu has drastically changed since the chef left and the hotel introduced a new chef and new menu. The food took ages, the service was slow even tough the place was empty and when it finally came the steak was cold, the chicken rice was hard and over cooked and a cold plate of tuna appetizers took 45 mins to bring out and was tasteless. Overall a Zero , Never Going Back and actually feel bad for the people working there.

Poor experience, went recently after a year and the quality of the food and service has gone down exponentially. Out of the 5 plates we got, only the fresh catch was good along with the mussels, the lentils were incredibly overpriced with a chorizo that seemed as basic as a hot dog, ceviche that was incredibly deficient in like, and a steak that was cold. We also got a fly in our cup of wine and when asked for a fresh glass the waiter simply poured the old glass into the new one trying to keep the fly in the old one (unsuccessfully). The steak was cold and we sent it back and when they brought it back not only was it over the cooking point we wanted (which makes sense out of recooking the steak) but it was literally as cold or colder than the first time. Additionally, the manager dismissed my party, never apologized for the treatment and responded with “whatever I’ll just take the steak off of the check” when it was brought up to her. Saddened to see a great restaurant plummet in quality of food and attention in such a short period of time.

Awesome experience!! The chef Raul Zambrano was definitely a great choice to lead the team, the food is now fresher and the flavors have more personality than ever. The service from Melina and Ruben exceeded the expectations. The drinks from the Master Bartender Jonathan made me break the “only one drink rule”. And of course the politeness from Rick the manager always made feel like home.

The brioche on my burger was very stale. Everything else was mediocre at best.

Food was not particularly interesting. Few menu choices. Overpriced. Mediocre service. Went to celebrate a birthday and, even with having made a reservation and the restaurant being empty on a Monday night, our table was not ready and hostess had not even selected a location for our party of 8 when we arrived. Parking at valet was $20 and cash only.
