This place needs to update their hours of operations.

This location is walking distance from my job and my coworkers and I decided to try it out. We greeted as we walked in but did not receive a greeting back. We were told in Spanish to sit in the table in the corner that she would set it up now. The waitress seemed rushed and a bit rude. If it were based on service I would give this location two stars but due to the convenience and the food being good I have given it 4 stars.

Listed open hours are wrong, which is unfortunate because this isn’t in a very convenient location

Do not recommend. Nothing good about this place. My husband and I went for lunch and found the staff and food extremally disappointing. Although there were no customers upon our arrival, we were made to wait while the (only) server finished talking on the phone. My husband's Vaca Frita, white rice and black beans tasted good going down but caused him immediate stomach distress. It was a frantic rush home where he was left unable to do anything but remain close to the bathroom. Possibly some type of food poisoning. My Cuban sandwich was actually just a ham sandwich with a very runny large slather of mustard and mayonnaise which I scraped off. Not even a pickle. Very messy and expensive considering there was not even a chip or fry. We will definitely not go to this place again.

Have been going for breakfast for months despite slow and rude service. But the most recent visit will be the last.

We are in Miami for an over night family getaway. We found Off The Mile in a simple google search. The website looks great and it's in a nice area. We got there at 8:12am on a Sunday. The place was empty and when I told the hostess/waitress/cashier we had a total of 6 people she rudely waved her hand towards the tables and said "any". We quickly realized that she didn't speak a word of English when she was unable to take our coffee order. After working our way through the coffee order it was over 15 minutes before we got water and coffee. Then we asked if we could order our food and the language barrier was an issue again. Cutting to the chase, it took over 50 more minutes to get our food and the two omelets that were ordered came with no cheese in them. These were menus item "ham and Swiss" omelettes. The two that ordered them even pointed to them on the menu when ordering. My steak was tough as heck an I was only given a butter knife. When I asked for a sharp knife she disappeared. About 5 minutes later I asked her again for a sharp knife and I was given a spoon. The food was marginal at best, the service was terrible and the prices were high. I now understand why this place was empty on a Sunday morning at 8am. Terrible place that deserves to go out of business.

Love this place. I come here with myMom and her girlfriends. Order the stuffed tostones appetizer and the croqueta preparada. Service was great and ambiance was even better.

I had the shredded pork and it was one of the best tasting meals I've eaten. The entire meal was full of flavor, and the pork had enough crispy bits to add a lot of interesting texture.

What a lovely little gem of a restaurant tucked away in Coral Gables. Casual Cuban inspired dining with a wine bar. Love the artwork.Family owned. Warm.and inviting atmosphere. I will be back to try more!
