First time at Sospiro! Will definitely come back. Loved the artichokes, the zucchini carpaccio and the nougat semifreddo for dessert. Ordered the french flight and rose flight, wine selection was impressive and tasty. Discovered that Loire valley wines can actually be delicious!

One of the best meals I’ve had in quite some time. The entire staff was attentive and informative. The Prosecco was truly the best I’ve ever had. Make sure to save some room for dessert, the tiramisu was divine! We will definitely be coming back.

It was our first time there and we really enjoyed the ambiance. They had live music playing and it was beautiful. The food was delicious. The wine our waiter recommended was very nice. I would definitely be back for more.

Would highly recommend this place to anyone looks for yummy food and delicious wine. The vibes are great. They had live music, fans for the heat, and a very cute porch cat.

I was so excited to try this wine bar when I saw it opened in the Gables. As an Italian, I am always excited for Italian spots, but also hyper-critical. Let's start off with the aesthetic- absolutely beautiful and the garden area and bar is a great for girls night or date night. We started off with the wine. I ordered my personal favorite the montepulicano-- always good but the pour size is relatively small. Unfortunately the charcuterie is very small. It came with about 5 small toasts. We shared the baked tomino. The truffled salami and patatas bravas were delicious and we LOVED the little marinated onions that it came with. We also ordered the calamari which came with about 5 of the octopus rings (along with the bodies) but a very small portion. We also ordered the ragu (which the waitstaff was raving about). It was just okay, ive had better pasta.. Speaking of the waitstaff, they were MIA for most of the dinner. We sat in the garden, and myself and the fellow patrons were so confused where the food and staff was. Then we saw a cockroach run by and we were all freaking out. Not the restaurant's fault, but I wish they checked on the tables a little more. It was a truly beautiful spot, but maybe they should just focus on wine and charcuterie, and make the charcuterie portions bigger!

Okay so when I walked in I was like " omggggggg it's sooooooooooo cute" and I was so happy to sit down and wait on my girl . When she came the nice server asked if we would like to sit inside or in the garden ! No Brauner we decided to sit out in the little garden ! And while it was cute I think we were forgotten about ! We constantly had to wave the servers down and the food portion sizes were sooooooo small for the price ! Not sure I would come back since I had to continue waving the server and my charcuterie board was tiny for the price ! All in all cute concept but feel like the prices and the taste wasn't worth it to come back

Very nice ambiance with solid food and live jazz on a Saturday night I attended. Nice crowd and a welcome change from the pretentious Brickell scene. Small bar area (4 seats) with indoor dining and an outdoor courtyard. Some of the best mortadella (with pistachios) I have had in Miami along with great aged parmigiano reggiano cheese. I had spaghetti pomodoro for my main course matched with a glass of Malbec and finished my excellent meal with a tiramisu. I shall return.

Don’t bother making reservations, they’ll be ignored. We waited 40 mins for our table and when I asked if our table is almost ready, I received a rude response. I thought they just opened but I see they’ve been around for a couple of months. Maybe next time I’m in Miami I’ll walk in and get seated before everyone with reservations.

Wish I were writing a different review as I am not a fan of leaving not so good reviews, but I did not find this place to be as great as the other reviews. Yes, the restaurant is very cute, nicely decorated, and has a certain vibe to it! Yes, it is very inviting and like others, I happened to be passing by and also was interested in checking it out. Went on a Friday night for a date night and the restaurant was completely full and seemed to be very understaffed. Service was extremely slow and food took forever to come out. I ordered a margarita pizza as a starter and it was just not good. I ate it because I was hungry, but it was more of a flatbread than a pizza and the dough was super chewy and stale. My husband ordered the lasagna bolognese and he said it felt like it came out of a frozen box that you heat up. I ordered the pesto shrimp pasta and it was just not good at all. We ordered the Spanish flight of wine to try, but did not like any of the 3 wines offered (and we are avid Spanish wine drinkers). Wine should have been poured at the table so we at least know what we are having. Staff was very nice and helpful when they came around, but service was not good. Maybe if you go there just for drinks it isn’t so bad? But for sure I will not return for dinner as the food was extremely disappointing! Really wanted to enjoy this place like the other positive reviewers, but unfortunately my experience was not the same.

Terrible experience. Customer service was very poor from the start. When we arrived, we stood at the front & no one acknowledged us. I went to the bar only to be sent back to wait. A lady came about 10 minutes later and we told her we had reservations. Our table wasn't ready. Eventually they sat us down, gave us menus and disappeared. This is a small place but it took forever for them to come talk to us. We ordered a bottle of red wine and were trying to order a bottle of white as we were a party of 6. The staff walked away several times in the middle of us ordering. The wine glasses were dirty. We asked to change the glasses and they gave us the same dirty glasses three times. We were a party of 6. Food was not served at the same time. Dishes were taken back to be replaced. They brought back the same dishes. It was definitely not replaced. The roasted artichokes come from a jar according to the manager after we complained about them. How are you serving jarred artichokes in a restaurant like this? In all fairness, when we finally became really upset, they did cover the bill. We were looking forward to dinner here bc it's such a cute spot. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back. So disappointed.

Excellent place. Just what the Gables really needs. Great ambiance and excellent wines. Needs a bit of work on the service side but with a little help it shouldn't be that hard.
