This restaurant has very unprofessional staff. Our book club made a reservation to meet there for lunch on Saturday at 1:00 PM. We were assured that everything was fine. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. Some of our book club members came from as far as Doral and Coral Gables. This lack of professionalism from the restaurant's staff is unacceptable. None of the ladies in our book club will ever go there again.

There was once two of these one in south Miami the other in the gables. Now only this one I'm the gables survives. This was our go to Indian take out during the pandemic so we decided to come back in once things opened again. We were not disappointed. We Started with the wife's favorite app the onion Bahji. There's is one of thre best as it's Crispy as it should be and plentiful. I have previously ordered the Somoza and they are also very good. Today we ordered the Chicken Tika again enough for 2. Nice plump chicken well marinated and cooked just right. I ordered the vegetable curry. Again very tasty and plentyfull. It had potatoes, tomatoes, corn, cheese peas cauliflower in nice curry sauce which smelled and tasted great. Came with basmati rice and of course we got some nan. apparently they were out of chutney but next time

The curries reminded me of myself- kinda salty, but overall very good. The gulab jamun are also good and served hot!

It’s great but a little bit too spicy. If you don’t like hot spicy then ask for no spicy at all. I ordered mild and it was so hot that I couldn’t enjoy the taste of the food

Food tastes good, but the place had a weird smell. Could improve on the interior as well, looks old and dark.

I am very selective with my foods and I eat vegan. This place had a light flavor which is complemented by the sauces they use. Your stomach will walk away with a smile if you eat here. If you aren’t accustomed to spice, go mild. The potato cakes are ?

My husband and I chose this restaurant specifically looking for a nice date night. The decor was a little nicer than the others online so we made the trip. So glad we did! The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and it's in a very picturesque area. We are vegan and there were a lot of flavorful options. The portions are very manageable but we still had leftovers. My favorite was the Aloo Tikki closely followed by the Vegetable Biryani made with golden raisins, cauliflower, green beans, potatoes, tofu and spices.

If you want to vomit your food up right after your lunch, go here. If you want to be treated rudely and get nothing for your money, patronize this hell hole. Was in Gables with a client, decided to bring treat home to wife. Ordered 2 simplest meals possible -- chicken tikka and dal makhani. They need 40 minutes, claim they are busy. I walk down Ponce. It's 75 and breezy and every restaurant has full outside and near capacity inside dining. Get to Taste Buds and no one there. No diners. No one. Walk back to the kitchen. Get my food. Person doesn't even say thanks. Get it home, spoon it out. It looks like no dal makhani we've ever seen -- and we've eaten at the best Indian places throughout the U.S. and the world. My wife says it's salty. I taste it, maybe it's herbs -- but no buttery creamy finish that is usual. I give her some of my chicken, all of the nan, most of the rice. She picks at her dal -- she usually adores the dish. Suddenly, I realize it is salty. Like the idiot in the kitchen dumped a bottle in and was too lazy to make another pot. Or they are struggling to get customers and they are substituting salt for prime ingredients. We'd tried the original South Miami one years ago. Found the food good, but waited 90 minutes at our table for simple order. This was the day for TBI to earn our trust. Instead, my wife excused herself and threw up her meal. She might have eaten a half shaker or more of salt. This ruined my remaining Tikka. Phoned the restaurant, it rang and rang. Finally got answer on another try. Said I want my money back. Person hung up on me. Dialed again. Same thing but I believe they muttered curse words. I would eat a year old hot dog off the rotating warmer at a 7-11 before even eating rice at this crap hole. I would rather eat stale nachos off a gas station floor than trust me innards to anything that comes out of this foul kitchen. Hope the go out of business soon -- so others don't have to share are vomit and disgust experience.

We've tried a lot of Indian food in Miami since moving here this summer. Nothing was as good as this place. Atmosphere was very casual, but the food was perfect. Great portions for a great price. So happy we found an Indian place we love!!!!

My wife and I had an amazing experience right now and taste buds of India. Sagar provided us with an amazing journey through through surf and turf. He recommended the shrimp Vindaloo and a goat curry. Excellent service and delicious food.
