BUT, they will tack on an extra hidden "Scratch Kitchen Commisson" charge on to your bill. Really? Aren't they making the food from scratch anyway? I would hope so. This is quite lame on the part of the management. Just pay your staff or charge entree's accordingly. BTW, does this even go to the Kitchen staff or is this just another way to pile price gouge? Pretty ugly either way. We did not stiff our excellent waiter, but really this stealth fee will keep me from going ther again...Dear reader, you shouldn't want to normaize this either.

The food, service, and ambiance was perfect! My mother, brother, and wife went for dinner after a day at the downtown waterfront and this place was spot on! I had the Tri-Tip Sammy, my mom had the fish and chips, my wife the veggie-bowl with steak, and brother had the bacon burger. NO ONE had a bad meal!!! Drinks are poured heavily, and the staff was on point! Thank you - we will be back!

Best food I've had hands down since moving here, I ordered from Uber eats and they followed every order note. It was fresh and healthy and so well packaged! I'm obsessed! I have to go in person now, it smells so good and it's so much food! I had to call them just to declare how wonderful the experience was, I mean soooo good, yall! lol

Nice music, great location. Our server Charlene, was so bubbly and awesome. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try. I opted for cod fish and chips. I got sweet potato fries instead of regular. It was good. Nice crispy batter with lots of flavor but not overpowering the taste of the fish. My colleague ordered the homemade chicken pot pie. It was really good too. . . she let me pick at it. I really wanted some homemade pie. . . blackberry I believe. . . but it came with ice cream and I didn't want ice cream. My excuse for not getting it was that I didn't want to pay for the ice cream and I didn't want ice cream. . . lol. . . I will visit again when I'm in the area.

Uptown Grill has become one of my favorites. They have a great menu with some healthy options like the perfectly executed butternut squash and salmon salad. There are also plenty of tasty comfort food options, too. The service is great. Really nice waitstaff. This place makes me happy!

Really nice place. The chicken pot pie was amazing and the Mac and cheese was so unique. The bathrooms were very clean and the seating was spacious. The service was also really good, came around the table the perfect amount.

Everything on their menu is delicious and the staff is friendly. I have been here multiple times and always enjoy it. The restaurant is spacious so you never feel squished. I recommend the artichoke/spinach dip.

This place is super nice and right in the middle of Olympia. Prices are kind of high compared to where I'm from in Ohio but that might be normal here. Staff was super friendly and the whole place was clean. I got the fried chicken Mac and cheese and it was amazing.

Hubby had pasta and loved it! I had salad and it was sooo tasty. We shared charred broccoli yes! Took home desserts -- double brownie and a berry pie!!' Like Mom made in the 1950s!! We will return!

We got here during a super busy sunny Friday but we were seated quickly. Hostess and waitress were very friendly. Our waitress got our drinks and appetizer orders in a timely manner as well as our mains. We ordered a couple of cocktails and my son got a shake. All were great. Think of them as an upgraded sit down chain American restaurant. The wings were especially great, the ranch tasted home made. I ordered the jambalaya over angel hair which was really savory and had a lot meat. My only gripe was it was a tad bit salty, but that's probably because of the sausage. Still good in my opinion. My wife had the beef stroganoff, which was really delicious. The beef was really tender and you can tell they used good meat. You can really taste the red wine in the sauce as well. But the best meal here had to be what my son ordered. The homemade pot pie. It looks huge, but it really isn't that crazy. The serving is just right for a teen or adult. The crust was hella buttery and crisp. The inside was filled with nice chunks of veggies and chicken. The creamy bechamel was on point. Definitely put Marie Calendars to shame. A definitely must try. Pretty good place, we would come back again. Quick note, they do charge a small fee for the kitchen on your receipt, but we didn't mind. We still added our own tip as well. Always support local biz

If you are going for a pleasant evening with a few friends, I would give Uptown Grill a solid four stars. Great service, good food. I had the creamy salmon fettuccini. It was very rich and the salmon was fresh and plentiful. My husband had the cod fish and chips. The fish was delicious and the accompanying cold slaw was fresh and tasty. His only complaint was that the fries were a bit soggy and tasted like they had been sitting a while. I don't know if I would go for a "date night" again. I was very loud and a cold breeze blasted in every time the door opened. Always difficult finding parking in the area too.

And then there was the food. Oh my goodness, the food! It was nothing short of wonderful. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The chef was clearly very talented, and it showed in every bite we took. But what really impressed me was how they handled our large group. Sometimes it can be difficult to please everyone, but this restaurant did an amazing job. They were attentive to every person's needs and made sure that everyone left feeling happy and satisfied. All in all, I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The atmosphere, customer service, and food were all top-notch, and I can't wait to go back.
