A very nice ambiance. We got there right when they opened and were seated immediately. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come over, and another 10 for our drinks, then another few for water. I ordered a soup in a bread bowl, but it only came in a normal bowl...I know, first world problem.it was delicious. But I was really looking forward to thr bread. We ordered a mahi sandwich and shrimp. The food was very tasty. We asked for a box for the leftovers, and someone took it away to box up, but it never came back! By then we were there for about an hour and needed to leave to get back to work. It's an upscale brewery with reasonable, but high prices. Everything took a little bit of time to get. It seemed unorganized but nice. I would like to give it another try, but I would not suggest going during your lunch hour if you are on a time constraint.

Before Breweries were hip. I remember having great experiences here in the early 2000's and visited for the first time again since then. Service was fantastic and our food was very good. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as well. The beer was very good and we definitely plan to return again.

Big bear never fails us. We sat outside and it was perfect for the weather. We had two servers attend to us and it was perfect! We ordered the pretzel bread, brew house tenders, and Black Jack burger with a side of Mac and cheese. We loved every dish and we can’t wait to come back again!

I've driven by this place a dozen times. This time we tried it out. Food was excellent. I had their Chicken Puff Pie and my partner had the beet goat cheese salad with a side of chicken. Others with us had the fish and chips, prime rib, and sausage pepperoni pizza. Prices were very reasonable for all dishes, and the service was pleasant and efficient. We will be back. The house beer was tasty.

We came to try this place because it came highly recommended by multiple people. The food here is average American. Similar to an Ale house. Our server wasn't as friendly as we would have liked, but she was quick and efficient. The decor is beautiful and the restaurant feels clean. The food was okay. Nothing wowed us and we would return only if it was convenient but nothing stood out that would bring us back. The photos of little girls in their women's bathroom creeped us out and made us wonder what was in the men's restroom.

Big bear is incredible. Been living down the street from them my whole life and definitely a weekly go to. It’s a shame I had to give them 4 stars due to lack of to-to orders. Been trying to order takeout for the last month. From them hanging up on me, putting me on hold or a new one that they aren’t taking over the phone orders, they want you to sit at the bar and wait 45 minutes while your foods made. Once they get their takeout systems in place they’ll get the last star, but until then they’ll have to settle for. 4/5 rating.
