Nasty nasty nasty!!!! They didn't cook the seafood in the sauce which cause the seafood to taste like nothing. They sauce didn't even have any seasoning it just tasted like butter nothing more. They over charge for that nasty stuff. Double charge use gratuity. Place not worth it to me ‍

So I'll start off by saying that this place really deserves 5-stars and I hate that I have to give it just 4 because the wait staff was pre-occupied and short staffed. It took a lot of time to get refills and to get the check but even with that being said, the food was so damn good that I'd still come back (often) and recommend this place to all my friends and family. The ambiance is nothing fancy but it would be pretty weird dressing up while wearing a bib and immersing your phalanges in delicious Cajun sauces. In other words, the motif fits perfectly with the occasion. So how about the food? Well we started with the crab bites and these little mini pieces of Heaven were a great start to an awesome dinner. Next up, my girlfriend and I shared The Perfect Storm Combo Boil. At first glance the portion didn't seem that impressive but once it's sat in front of you and you start digging in, you realize that this could have easily feed 3 full grown adults. Shrimp, crab legs, mussels, corn and potatoes...everything was insanely good. I think that it comes down to being seasoned really really really well and cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be coming back and hope that the service will be a little better so I can upgrade this review to 5-stars...which this restaurant really should deserve!

Memorable place for a late lunch with family. Food was great, atmosphere is fun and lively, but service could use some improvement. Our server forgot to bring crab leg cracker tools which should not need to be asked for when crab legs are ordered. Other than that, they handled our large party well. I can imagine it being a really fun place during peak, non-pandemic times. Food came out faster than expected and the seafood quality is good. Soap dispenser in the men’s bathroom was broken, but I’m still giving it 4 stars overall instead of 3. Thank you for my first seafood boil experience!

My husband and I decided to give this place a try because of some good reviews. Once we got in and were greeted by the hosted we noticed a few people seated at the table hanging out and come to find out they were not guests but workers. The hostess lead us to our table but on the way there we noticed that there were a large group of people playing poker and when we got to the table I immediately looked over to my right and noticed a live roach. I told the hostess and she asked if we wanted to sit on the table next to it. No ma’am!!!!!! We immediately left! Never again!

I love the special blend spicy. No one has anything similar as far as a crab boil goes. If you like spicy and crab boils go here. The have fire level too. I know a few friends of mine that did not enjoy this place cause or portions, I get it but I still come back for the spicy special blend.

OMG I love this place. Rue was our waitress and by far the best service I ever received period so far. She is GREAT I hope she is there next time we go. The $ I spent with me my cousin and our 4 kids didn't bother me all thanks to RUE.

First time here and it was really good. Nice hometown vibe and friendly staff! Food came quick and service was amazing! The only thing I can complain about was the sausage in one of the boils we ordered but I don’t really care about that I’m here for the seafood! The appetizers were all very good and the clam chowder is fantastic. Everything was fresh and nothing tasted frozen!

I have been to the coral springs location 2x now and both times the food and service were great. This is primarily a boil bag meal that allows you to customize your bag at a personal level. Choose as much or as little you want and pay for what you order. This will not be the last visit, however my only point of criticism is that the boil bags only come with one piece of corn and one potato. You can order more based on your preferences but considering these are the least expensive items it would be nice to have more without a surcharge.

Very unique sea food preparation, I tried the combo shrimp and scallops with lemon pepper sauce , the food met expectations for sure but I wished they offer more salad options ... ( they include a pair of disposable gloves inside the bib which is the best ) Recommended

We love Hook and Reel, but this location was really phenomenal, the hostess at the front door was so sweet and friendly. Our waiter Chris gave us exceptional service and was very attentive. We both had the crab legs with the H &R blend...WOWWwww man that sauce was beyond amazing. Chef Gustavo has magic hands. We had such a good experience, we will come back soon. Oh and the oysters were so fresh and delicious as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.
