Waitress was way off her game, considering she had a very low number of tables. Bad service can negatively affect ther whole experience. But the food was great, although on the expensive side.

The ambiance was cozy and elegant. Filet was cooked perfectly and was tender and juicy. Fingerling potatoes were scrmptous with a dusting of Parmesan. The service was impeccable. I would give more stars if I could!

Every time we visit Incontro the food has been great. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Pasta the best you could have. Everything always comes out perfectly and on Thursday you get a violinist for your enjoyment. I highly recommend Incontro for intimate settings or large get togethers.

We were very well taken care. As soon as we entered we feel very welcome., the waitress is so nice she explained about the menu and the special of the night. The food was delicious, good music was pleasant and didn't interfere with my wife and me to talking.. I highly recommend.

Very disappointed in the food. fettuccine Alfredo extremely salty. Also had Pappardelle with pork rags. Pasta overcooked and all stuck together also very dry. I had to ask for extra sauce. And that’s after having to call the waitress over because she never came back to see how everything was after we got our meal.

The service was not good. We had to wait a long time for a waiter to take our order, then he disappeared. We had to keep asking for things, and waiting for them. They brought the bill but no one ever came to collect it, again waiting, until I finally flagged down a waitress. The food and service was not in line with the price.

Food was excellent, as always, but the noise level on the 'quiet upper level' was excessive and the service was simply terrible. The bread that was brought to the table looked like it was the left-overs from another party; we asked for more and never received it. The waiter was inattentive throughout the evening and even messed-up the check to conclude the evening! We'll take a break...but will return.

Our server was very nice but we continually had to ask the hostess or manager or bartender for simple things like napkins, cutlery, condiments. Our salad was very good but we had a pasta dish with clams and mussels and it was cold. A couple of mussels were also closed and the clams were tiny. Might give it one more try. For the price, we expected excellence, but we got mediocrity.

Food is very good. Enjoyed the pasta fagioli soup and chicken parmigiana dinner. Portion is very large, had enough for a 2nd night. SDr ice was ok, maybe waiter was new, seemed a little off.

This place is mid at best. We tried the chicken parm and the penne vodka. I grew up italian from new jersey. the food was terrible to me. the bread was nasty. the drinks were nasty. i was expecting something really good. i read a lot of great reviews & i feel like this place is not authentic italian. the penne vodka wasn't even pink it was like white. I wouldn't come back here. the service was great ! We had gabby. she was very sweet. attentive and informative. but i won't be coming back here due to the food. the pricing is decent. menu could use some work

Incontro never disappoints! The owner is amazing!! He manages to somehow go to every table and ask how they're doing. He made our valentines very special. Probably one of the best owners out there. He truly cares about his business. The food was amazing and our server was very tentative.

It is disappointing to write this review as we have been there three previous times all of which were very good. Their touted special of pistachio encrusted branzino was slightly mushy, and tasteless. There was not even a hint of pistachio. All of the food came out lukewarm, not hot. Admittedly, the place was filled and hopping, but being busy is just an excuse. The waitress was very good; service was slow due to how busy they were. The busing“ of the table was not attentive, leaving our water and bread empty much of the time. Specials were stated and shown to you by the waitress without mentioning the associated cost. Cost was expensive.

Sitting on the "upper level" is a nicer experience than in the main dining room. Everyone enjoyed their dinner; the noise level was low so conversation and hearing the waitress was not an issue.

Theere were 9 of us and we were in a private area so not affected by the general dining room. Food was great except for one dish, which was fixed. Service was excellent and staff attentive. This restaurant needs a. HAPPY HOUR daily and some bar bites. They are missing out on a source of income that could help them.

We typically like this restaurant but this time and last felt very rushed which considering the price and type of restaurant isn't right. We were in and out in around an hour which isn't the dining experience for a Saturday night we were hoping for. We ordered an appetizer, first course and before we were half way through, they asked to take it away and put the entrees on the table. Also, our server was nowhere to be found several times. We really would love a restaurant like this in time so we hope everything gets worked out so that it survives.
