I think this is an A- hibachi restaurant. I grew up in Coral Springs and came for my birthday dinner, but I've had better hibachi food in chain restaurants. Definitely appreciate the atmosphere though. Our chef was wonderful. I do agree with another recent reviewer that the fried rice is phenomenal, but then the yum-yum sauce tastes nothing like it's supposed to. The chicken was spectacular, but the veggies were flavorless. The soup was very good as well as the salad. I just wish everything tasted equally excellent as the show was.

Izumo Japanese Restaurant in Coral Springs exceeded our expectations for my daughter's birthday celebration. With a party of six, our reservation was honored promptly. The attentive server went above and beyond, surprising my daughter with a birthday dessert topped with a candle. The chef skillfully ensured all orders and dietary preferences were met. A fantastic dinner experience; five stars all the way!

PADDING THE BILL!!!! So they intentionally padded our bill. Unbelievable. First, they tried to charge me 23% for the gratuity automatically which it wasn't stated anywhere that it was an automatic gratuity. And usually it's 18%. Tried to charge is $285 for a family of 6, 4 kids 2 adults for hibachi dinner. Think about that. We had 4 drinks and split one of the meals, so 5 dinners. Then, for their next trick of padding my bill, the kids Japanese sodas are listed as $4.50 per piece, they charged me $5.95 and said oh the price is increased but we didn't change our menus, I said WHAT! You can't do that. She just looked at me and said that's what the owners wanna do and I said this is bad business. We will never come here again, and I will leave you a view online and people will see this and she didn't care. And then the food, we had hibachi and the guy overcooked the vegetables and burned them with the sugary sweet sauce He kept pouring on there, so it turned into black sludge. Nice move buddy. Hopefully people read this and go somewhere else. Can you imagine what else they're doing wrong if they behave like this in your face The place was empty on a Friday night at 7 o'clock. Geez, I wonder why...... oh

Saito the chef was really great and so were with other folks that work there. The food was really fresh and delicious, the place was authentic and cute. We'll eat here instead of Benihana from now on.

We had a delicious meal this evening! The service was very attentive to everyone around the hibachi. Every part of the meal was spectacular. Portions are just right for completing at restaurant or maybe a small leftover! This was a great find from another Yelp review!

Fire Place. Sells Sushi and is hibachi. Recommend! Also, the chefs are super skilled, and they make good food and onion ring volcano

Really good place with really good food and for cheap, but the fire alarms kept going of during multiple shows. Don't know if they were faulty or it happens all the time but if you have tinnitus or have a fear of loud noises beware

This establishment serves as a quintessential example of the adage "don't judge a book by its cover." At first glance, its exterior, seemingly untouched for 15 to 20 years, may not inspire confidence. But if one can overlook the dated aesthetics, a culinary gem awaits discovery. The food here is nothing short of incredible, a testament to the expertise and dedication of the kitchen staff. That being said, there is one aspect that notably detracts from the experience—the seating. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable and are in dire need of an upgrade. It's a minor yet significant detail that could vastly improve the overall dining experience.Despite its aged appearance and the issue of uncomfortable seating, the establishment shines brilliantly through its exceptional cuisine, making it a diamond in the rough worth discovering.
