This place got even better! The owner told me that they have a new vendor for their beef and the Italian Beef Sandwich tastes like heaven on a bun. And shrinkflation does not apply here. While their fried pickles used to be the size of a regular French fry, they are now 4 times as fat. Great place, great owners.

Let's get this out of the way: did I learn what an Italian Beef was from watching The Bear on FX? Yes, absolutely. Am I now obsessed with beefs and Mr. Beefy's in general? Yes, I love me a good beef. I don't know how I lived this long without that perfect combination of beefy goodness, spice and sweetness. The peppers, the au jus, the BEEF. It's probably my favorite thing since Season 2 of The Bear.

Place was quite busy, or so it seems being small with limited seating. The first encounter we had was a very slow moving process. From waiting to order, to waiting for the food took 20 minutes! On arrival, one hot sub was quite cold making it unenjoyable. The other was as it ok. The meats used were definitely fresh and tasty. The sides we ordered were hot and real good. This establishment is clean and inviting, and is decorated quite uniquely. Apparently the owner is a dog lover as am I. We had to once again wait on line to pay, this time for about 5-10 minutes which may not seem like a long time, but combined with the order and serving, we lost almost 1/2 of our hour lunch break just waiting. Will try again during off hours to see if this is just a lunch hour issue or a staffing problem.
