We came at 3pm on a Sunday and the place was pretty empty. But for a 3pm on a Sunday I think that's normal. It was filled with what looked like regulars so that was a good sign. Our waiter seemed new, but was delightful. Understood our orders and wrote them down.I was asked what bread I wanted for my egg sandwich. I was a bit confused, egg sandwiches usually come on a roll, so I obviously said a roll. He didn't exactly give me options.Little did I know that roll cost me an extra 50 cents. If a egg sandwich doesn't come on a roll what does it come on? White bread? Ew.We asked for the bacon and home fries crispy, good thing we did. They came out great. Our food came relatively quickly. The 2-2-2 came out good, the French toast was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. We just wish there was more flavor. More cinnamon. The egg sandwich has the right amount of bacon for eggs. If the egg had been just a bit runnier it would have been a perfect NYC deli sandwich. Crispy and gooey. Notes for the chef!It was a peasant experience on a Sunday afternoon. Just don't expect to be rushed or in and out in a hurry. It's a very slow paced feel in there.

Food is good for a diner. Big portions. Great matzoh ball soup...but no patrons...odd.

The Ramblewoid diner is a nice place to eat if you don't mind waiting and being niclele and dimed for everything. It's the spirit airline of diners. The coffee maximum at breakfast is 2.. Crem cheese is extra. The wait staff are wonderful. Very sweet and hard working .

We went a week ago for dinner with 10 family members. Seems like the business has dropped off . Several years ago under different ownership, at dinner there would be 2 servers and a buser. The buser has been the only person on the floor in the evening. He works hard , but the person at the register both times recently ( I think owner) doesn't help on the floor . You need a lot of time to eat here. The food has been ok but cool because with one person waiting on 3-4 tables with our group being 10 it takes a while to get the food out. One person in our party ordered ordered 2 eggs ,toast , and a side of meatloaf. She expected one slice of meatloaf and to be charged like a breakfast meat. A dinner portion is 3 slices. She was charged for a complete breakfast and a complete dinner ( she did get 3 slices which isn't what she wanted) $24.00. She was offered to take the sides to go at the register , but no reduction of price. Before retirement I owned several businesses and when I was in any of them if customers were waiting I helped. Plus I always wanted to greet my guest and make sure everything exceeded their expectations. Unless the person at the register gets up and helps I'm concerned this place isn't going to make it . The guy who now works the floor is wonderful , but can't do it all alone. I'm not sure we will return, but hope this message helps someone see what maybe causing a decrease in business .

Not service dog friendly nor familiar with laws and very rude staff. Avoid going here, not worth the time or effort and not enjoyable. Argues with patrons.

Will never go back. Eggs scrambled were not cooked and wheat toast tasted bad. The waitress was not friendly at all and got mad when we did not order right away. 1 free refill of coffee.

Stopped in while in the area. Every city needs a diner like this. From the locals chatting around you to the service. I had one of their omelettes and it was big and fluffy. Side of has browns were crisp and not over cooked. If there was one negative it is that you only get one refill on your coffee then you have to get charged for an additional cup.A side from that it was a great meal and look forward to coming back.
