“New to the area, first time eating here. It was fantastic! The lean brisket was the most moist I’ve ever had, bark on the meat had great flavor, smokiness was not overpowering and this menu was diverse with great sandwich combinations. Highly recommend everyone try it. Guy helped us at the counter and he was fantastic! He was helpful, patient and enthusiastic! The other staff members were all engaging and very nice!“
“I go here often for their delicious chicken salad sandwiches…such a nice healthy change from typical fast food. Nothing but great experiences here, and the rewards program is excellent. Good to see the owner so involved in the day to day running of the business. Very hard to keep sufficient staff at many of the Coral Springs restaurants,(***hint: if you have any concern at any small local business, always ask to talk to the manager or owner before plastering a negative review…small businesses deserve our support and welcome the chance to make it right). Sometimes I will take a container of chicken salad home so I can enjoy it at my convenience. Btw, just tried the broccoli salad as a side…my new favorite, and I usually don’t even like broccoli! “I have never seen a waitress work harder before. This place was so busy and the waitress was non stop but eveything was amazing. Got all you can eat shrimp and catfish and barely finished my first plate there was so much. Good tasted great and service was amazing especially with how busy they were.“
“Princess and Sam are absolutely amazing!! Omg Princess cooks the most delicious food. Stop by you won't be disappointed. We had to get an additional bowl to share and food to take home cause the it was simply that good.The atmosphere is great and super welcoming and Princess and Sam made even better, they were so accommodating and friendly! It's hard to find this level of service these days so I extra appreciate it.Super recommend the golden beets, the Mac and cheese, the sweet potato and the checking thighs. “Had the Pulled Pork egg roll appetizers to start with. Then ordered the BLT with green fried tomatoes and the pulled pork sandwich both came with fries. I can’t say enough about the food and the portion sizes they serve. The hospitality of the staff is just beyond anything we’ve experienced here in Florida. I would recommend this restaurant any day for lunch or dinner and the weekend for brunch. They are worth every cent you spend there! Kevin has one amazing restaurant here in FLL. “The staff was incredible! Pictures of family members are on the walls of the restaurant, nice touch! I ordered a plethora of items all of which were typical of a soul food restaurant. Mac and cheese, fried wings w/ various sauces , fried ribs, fish and greens. Nothing really stood our as spectacular, however it was hot seasoned decently and the customer service was stellar. I would go back because of proximity,cleanliness, customer service. It's not the best soul food I've ever had,but it was good.Vegetarian options: If you are a strick vegetarian, I would not recommend.Parking: Ope. Parking lot. Restaurant located in a shopping plaza.“
“This place was amazing. It's black owned, ran by black people, the whole experience. My party of 4 got to the restaurant an hour before our reservation ( on a Sunday) and the host Wendy was gracious enough to get us in early. Wendy are a gem in that. You can tell she runs a they ship. All the staff were nice. The food was just simply amazing. When you first walk in, the low light will take you a couple of minutes to adjust. However once you do, it's all good from there. There have a little photos booth to take photos. The music was just right. I definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. We can wait to go back for dinner once night. Hats off to Smith and Webster!!“
