I planned a surprise party for a friend and the restaurant staff helped make it happen. They were gracious and spot on with their delivery. Each food item was flavorful and delish! It’s an intimate setting though very comfortable.

The Cook and The Cork was fantastic. We came with friends and sat outside in their beautiful courtyard. I love the ambiance. We shared a bunch of small plates. The crawfish shrimp crab cakes are the absolute best. The spareribs and book Choy were very good. I also had Parpadelle Bolognes, which was bland and I wouldn't recommend. all in all, everyone was happy and we will be back.

From the food to the wine ?, the owner Keith is so incredibly knowledgeable. New Year's we came with 2 pescatarians, 2 GF and 1 vegan and a meat eater and each of us had spectacular meals!!Just go!!Dietary restrictions: They accommodate any needs just let them know.

It was our first time there. Our server was very good. The cocktails were also very good and the wine prices were fair. However, the portion of the salmon dish was small and the pork chops were overcooked and dry. We would give the place another chance.

We've been visiting this restaurant since it first opened. The food and service have always been exceptional. We went there last night to try their Korean Fried Chicken KFC which had recently won them the Sun Sentinel's “Best Fried Chicken in South Florida” award. I couldn't wait to try the dish. It was not just outstanding, it placed this dish amongst my top five dining experiences ever. The chicken was slightly seasoned and battered then fried to perfection. It was served with Wasabi mashed potatoes and a side of Korean Kimchi styled Cole slaw. All three things on the plate complemented each other to make it an insanely wonderful dish. I congratulate the chef/owner for coming up with this amazing dish.

Our first time experience at the Cook and the Cork. We had outdoor seating, making it quieter than indoor seating. It was a narrow area, but worked well having tables nicely spaced. The attentive service and food was excellent with a varied menu. We will come back!

The food was delicious, ans the wine was immaculate. My only concern was that our server Jordan lost his temper on us when we saw we didn't tip. Neither my boyfriend and I had cash and we prefer that than to do it on the card, knowing the servers dont always get the tip. The professionalism was thrown out the window. Im just sorry I wont be coming back to such a lovely place.

The staff, especially, our server Jordan, went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. Last night, four of us went out for dinner, unfortunately, my friend didn’t feel well shortly after we were sat for dinner. She passed out at another table, trying to make her way to our table. The staff, as well as the lovely couples at the table where she collapsed on, were super nice and helpful. The staff immediately came over and had called 911. It turned out that her blood pressure was so low and she wasn’t hydrated enough. Chrohn’s contributed to this. Everyone there was concerned genuinely for her wellbeing. My friend and her husband left . We had food coming so we had a bite and took the rest to go. We loved the perogies , spare ribs and paparodelli bolognese when we got home! The octopus was ok.All in all, we would definitely go back again when we are all healthy ?

My dining experience at The Cook and The Cork was filled with anticipation, as supporting local businesses, especially through their trials, holds great importance to me. Regrettably, my recent visit did not align with the exceptional experiences I've come to expect, shedding light on areas ripe for enhancement. The heart of the matter appeared to be the understaffing issue, particularly noticeable on a holiday. Such occasions, while bustling, are opportunities for a restaurant to showcase its best. Unfortunately, the service did not meet the moment, characterized by delays and a noticeable disconnect from the server. This was not the warm, engaging hospitality that invigorates the dining experience and makes each guest feel valued. When presented with an opportunity to share our feedback directly with the management, we hesitated. Our reluctance was not out of indifference but from a desire to preserve the spirit of the holiday and avoid potentially confrontational exchanges, as hinted at by the restaurant's online responses to previous critiques. Constructive dialogue is the cornerstone of growth, yet the manner of communication can sometimes deter the very engagement it seeks to foster. I hold onto hope that this feedback, offered from a place of support and constructive intent, can serve as a catalyst for reflection and adjustment. It's clear that The Cook and The Cork possesses the potential for culinary excellence and a delightful dining atmosphere. Addressing these staffing and service challenges could significantly enhance the overall experience, ensuring that both regular patrons and new visitors leave with intentions to return. In closing, I eagerly await the positive changes that I believe are within reach for The Cook and The Cork. It's a venue with much to offer, and with some adjustments, it can fully embody the vibrant spirit and high standards it aspires to. Here's to a future w

This place honestly gives you the feeling of being home for the holidays and just enjoying the company of great friends and family. It doesn't feel like your intruding on someone's life like what most places make you feel nowadays. The food is always heartwarming to the soul. With portion size matching it's worth. Lastly, with the new full bar in place you can always enjoy the classic cocktails you can get at most places, but with the love of the cook and the cork. Enjoy my friends when I say this is a place you'll love to visit.

I ventured to the Cook and Cork after seeing they won for the best fried chicken in So Fla (Sun Sentinel). I ordered it; good but certainly not great. The service, I have been mulling over how to describe; I think slightly better than perfunctory would be apt. Outdoor space is cozy and inviting. Overall, somewhat underwhelming and probably not befitting a return visit, partly because it is a 40 minute drive.

Ok, went in with my wife and friends. The couple I was with highly recommended this place. The waiter took our orders and gave me the wrong side.He argued profusely with me.About that I never said roasted potatoes. Off to a horrible start.Annoyed I said fine give me the plate. Then he back tracked and said he would give me what I wanted/ordered.My friends who recommended this place were thoroughly embarrassed by the non professional way the waiter treated me. Management should teach this guy not to argue with the customer.Especially over a stupid side?We were only one of four tables.Ok, the food. The fried chicken was below standard and tasteless. Plus Korean slaw with it tasted lousy. The focaccia bread ordered as a starter was charred/burnt.First time will be my last.Terrible experience
