Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival

I was excited to go to the festival as a tourist, especially for the food. I went early, at 11am, but the food area was so narrow, it was hard to move. The tickets, which you had to purchase in advance, were $1 per ticket, and most items were $10-$30 with everything. There was no easy place to sit and eat, either. The art was the highlight, but it, too, was crowded. It needs to be in a larger, more spacious vendor and tickets need to be eliminated.
I Paid $15 for a cup of Shrimp and grits and it had 1 shrimp in it. $20 crab cakes, and $6 canned beer. What a joke! The only good part was a few very good artists that brought their artwork. Oh, and you have to pay to come in and walk around.
