The noodles in the vegetable lomein is overcooked. The fried chicken has too much salt. Sorry but if Gordon Ramsay was to taste this, he would toss it. Step up your culinary skills!!!

We always eat at China Star when we get Chinese food in town and it's usually really good, but lately its been underwhelming, and tonight was the worst. Their spicy dishes have been so spicy that you can't taste the actual flavors of the dish. I asked for "less spicy" tonight and it was finally edible, but we ordered a beef dish off the dinner menu and we got the chicken version, which isn't even on the dinner menu. The main dishes themselves were good, but we also ordered cheese wontons and got egg rolls with the dinners. The wontons were crumpled up, burnt, and had barely any filling. They weren't really edible. The egg rolls also tasted old and mushy. I am just so disappointed, but it doesn't do any good to complain to them, because once I actually found a piece of food string in my mei fun and when i reported it, they weren't even apologetic and were just very dismissive. I hope they read these and work to make improvements.

I’m not sure if maybe they made some changes since the last reviews were posted but my husband and I had a great experience at this restaurant! We ordered multiple items, the general tso’s chicken, shrimp lo mein, sweet and sour chicken and the beef ribs. They were all very delicious and now we have left overs for 2 days since the portions are enormous! 10/10 would recommend.

Love this place, excellent food and service. They have the best red sauce for dipping your egg rolls.

Horribly unfriendly staff and sickening food. Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken (2 orders) with fried rice and Egg Drop Soup. As you can see from the picture the chicken was encased in some kind of puff breading, with no sweet and sour sauce and the fried rice was old and tasteless. The egg drop soup was an orange-greasy mess. I wish there was a category for minus stars. I'm just thankful my clothes didn't smell like a greasy kitchen after I left because the smell was so overwhelming in the waiting area.

Worst take out we've ever had. The Lo Mein taste like old oil and the General Tso's was so dry we cracked it open to discover there was no chicken, just old batter. Couldn't even finish it. Don't waste your money. My husband who is the most easy going, consume anything in front of him, never waste food guy I know, was upset and refused to finish it.

I should have known from the pleasant order takers demeanor that we would be disappointed in the food quality. Cream cheese wontons over fried, sweet and sour chicken also over cooked as was egg rolls. Not happy at all and won’t be returning !

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST Chinese "food" I have ever TRIED to eat. The best thing I can say is the Sesame Chicken was hot, but tasted like sh**. The Fried Cheese Wonton were cold, stale, obviously store bought and devoid of cream cheese, (even my Dogs wouldn't eat them), while the steamed dumplings, also cold, were like rubber filled with flavorless mystery mush. I ate two or three bites of each, then threw it all away. 30 minutes later I was sick and vomiting.

We ordered takeout, pork fried rice, chicken and broccoli and wonton soup. The wonton soup was so yellow it was almost orange In color, so much food coloring and there were 8 very tiny wontons on n a quart container, no flavor and the fried noodles to go in the soup barely had but 6-7 of the smallest pieces(not enough for a bowl of soup). I didn’t use mine as the package had sticky stuff all over it-yuck! The fried rice was awful- no flavor, dry, hard and crunchy, no egg, barely any vegetables(oh I did find one pea) and the tiniest bit of dried out pork and again tons of dark yellow food coloring in the rice. The chicken and broccoli was just as bad, chicken was tough and dark orange from the food coloring. It had no flavor. I was embarrassed to serve such food to my daughter and grand daughter. We will “NEVER” go back there. Worst food we have ever had and more expensive than Jin Jin’s. Don’t waste your money here! I would not even rate this place one star!

The food wasn't great, but the guy taking my order was very nice. I wouldn't go back because the food is so bad, I was no longer hungry, tho. The donuts were the best thing, and they were alright.

Lo mein was awful. No taste and almost chalk like. Wonton had no taste or flavoring. Chewy and not crunchy. Wasted 25 dollars.
