I got the beef/vegetable lumpia, pancit, and lechon and it was all fantastic. I grew up in a place with a really large Filipino community and have some Filipino family members so I've had a lot of mainly home-cooked Filipino foods from multiple different households. So I like to think I have more Filipino food experience than average. The lechon was hot, fresh, and amazing too. For anyone that doesn't know, lechon is deep fried cubes of pork belly. It's extremely rich and maybe one of the purest forms of the pork experience you can buy lol. To offset the richness, they serve it with a vinegar and soy sauce based dip that really balances it out well. Sometimes with lechon, there's a danger of it being too tough since pork belly meat can be on the tough side, so if you over-fry it, it's really hard to chew. Not Nellie's. Hers was super tender. The pancit had a fantastic flavor and used a combination of thin rice noodles and thicker flour noodles which were both nice and bouncy. I didn't realize the different noodle types were a regional thing since I'm mainly used to pancit with only the thin transparent noodles. But after some research, I found that both types are common depending on where you're from, and combining the two types is a thing too. So I was really happy I got to try a new type of pancit. I've made pancit at home too and Nellie's was way better than mine lol. It's not greasy at all like you get with some pancits that try to use oil to prevent noodles sticking to the pot. The lumpia was great too. IMO lumpia is a superior form of egg roll because egg roll wrappers are really thick and can weigh down the rest of the ingredients with their thickness. But lumpia wrappers are very thin and are light and crispy whereas eggroll wrappers are thick and chewy. Nellie puts cheese in hers which is unusual, but I still think even with the cheese you are getting a classic Filipino lumpia experience. The sauce is really good too. Honestly so nice to have Filipino style lumpia again. Lastly, I had a great conversation about Filipino food with the man at the register. He was super friendly and it's clear that he and his family are passionate about their food. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely be coming back here regularly. Unfortunately I'm 7 hours away! Definitely stopping by the next time I'm in the area.

Ok I wasn't sure what to expect going in but my wife wanted to go, so we did. I am now a huge fan!!!! The restaurant was very clean and neat. We ordered two combos and drinks. The food was excellent! You could taste how fresh everything was and the homemade sauce was fantastic! Go and try it - you will love it! We had lumpia, a chicken skewer and noodles with veggies and chicken and finally wantons! See the photo. Also the sweet lady who filled our drinks was so kind, happy and she just made the experience all the better! It was great and we will be back, very soon!!!

I hate to do this but ignore all the reviews saying this food is good! I’m Filipino and let me tell you…. THIS IS NOT AUTHENTIC and I was offended by how bland the food tasted. Never in my life have I ever tasted food that tasted like nothing-absolutely nothing. I’m amazed at how bland the food was. The adobo is the same thing as the curry…. Which is strange and they taste the same… WHICH IS NOTHING!! Salt and pepper can’t fix this. I’ll pray for this restaurant because this is not what authentic food tastes like- better yet, this isn’t what regular food should taste like! It pains me to leave a terrible review to my fellow Filipinos but I can’t do it. Absolutely not. My heart goes out to the people that say this is good. The disrespect. Ok but the lumpia was a 2/10. It’s edible but not good. That’s the only thing that had flavor and take that with a grain of salt (something that this place knows nothing about).

If you like good Filipino food, you will like Nellie's. If you don't like Filipino food, you haven't tried Nellie's. The buffet is reasonably priced, the offerings are tasty with just the right amount of spice (IMHO), and I like that everyone wears gloves when filling their plates at the buffet. We went specifically for the lumpia, but the pancit noodles, fried rice, soup, and adobo makes us more than glad that we found this delightful little restaurant. Anyone with a sweet tooth will find at least one dessert offering that will meet their needs. My only dislike is they aren't open for dinner. I think their hours are 11 - 5 Monday - Saturday.

When I called asking nellie was extremely rude. Turned me off from even eating there. Work on your customer service skills.

Great place to get your Filipino food fix. They follow strict covid safe practices with the buffet, where you have to use a disposable glove when getting your food. Owners are super nice. I love Nellie's pancit, adobo and green beans.

While vacationing in FWB we decided to try foods we don't normally have or, in this case, have never had. We've seen different Filipino food on various FoodTV shows and were willing to give it a try. Lunch was served buffet style with disposable gloves due to COVID. I'm willing to abide by any rules if it means locally owned businesses remain open. We had green beans, chicken curry, pork and beef lumpia, noodles, rice, crab rangoon, chicken on a stick, and two different cakes for dessert. I felt like I had been invited to a party at a Filipino friend's home and grandma had cooked a buffet for us. I mean this in the best way possible. It was homey and delicious, and I would definitely visit again.

Good Filipino food! The buffet has disposable gloves due to covid. There is no Filipino restaurant at home so this is a regular stop when we are in Navarre for vacation
