My husband and I ate here on March 8 2020 as recommended by a friend. I had the Ny Strip Steak with coleslaw and red potatoes my husband had the Grouper Sandwich and both had the salad from the salad bar. Our server was Tina. The food was delicious and enough to make 2 meals from. Our server was awesome and always making sure we had everything we needed and our drinks never got empty. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend to my friends and family.

Clawdaddys is a seafood restaurant and pub that offers good seafood at an affordable price. Don't expect a fancy dining room or a wine steward. There is pub style bar seating with high tops and booths on one side which is real comfortable with a sea shack atmosphere. The other seating is scattered tables and booths in a larger area that has a nice saltwater fish tank off-center in the middle. The place does date itself as 1980-90s and could use some fresh paint and new flooring. A few updated fixtures and wall coverings could help also, but it's not a bad atmosphere to eat in. If you want a casual night out, the bar seating is perfect.I got a bucket (my usual to share) of Gulf oysters from Louisiana and some fried assortment this last visit. The oysters were smaller than I preferred, probably a mix of small to standard size with about 30-40 making a shucked pint. They tasted great, but at about $1 an oyster I would like them more in the select to large size. We have gotten oysters here for years and the sizes being served have gotten much smaller over the years. Of the 100's of Gulf oysters I've eaten here, there have only been a few that were bad. They have always brought me replacements for the bad ones if you let them know (and don't try to eat them just send them back) Depending on who is doing the cleaning and shucking the day you go determines how much grit and dirt are left on the outside of the shell. If you want to make sure you don't get yours covered in dirt then remind them to brush and wash them off when you order. The fried platter combo was really good (lightly dusted with seasoned flour) We got the pick 3 with nice size large shrimp, oysters, and real scallops. The fries were hot and fresh and the beer on tap was cold and refreshing. There's plenty to choose from, but I recommend the oysters and beer with the fried gator or sea sampler appetizer for your first visit. Fear None, Love All, and Eat Well.

If any random chili’s is a ten (and they r not) this place is a one compared to that. Now, knowing chili’s is maybe a 2 out of 10, u can calculate how sorry this place is. Server was fine. Food was something a 5th grade class could’ve clonglomerated on. I live in FLORIDA. I’ve been to dives that are amazing. Best part of this place is their name. Spend ur money somewhere memorable, not lackluster and disappointing.

Although it has been 2 years since my wife and I dined at Claw Daddy's, I have to say I was EXTREMELY underwhelmed. We both ordered Scallops and green beans. The scallops were extremely small and worst of all, the green beans were obviously straight out of a can. EVERYTHING was over salted and almost inedible. Service was ok, but lackluster. This is literally the only bad review I have ever written about a restaurant. I gave 3 stars because the interior decor was interesting and the service wasn't terrible. I'd be willing to go back and give the restaurant another try, provided the food has improved.

Had dinner at the bar. Cassidy was our bartender/server...she was real nice and an excellent server. We had the early bird dinner which included the salad bar. It was wonderful! Drinks are great..there is a happy hour!

Great little gem in crystal River !!! Long day on the boat fishing I wanted a good lunch and a cold beer that’s exactly what I got!! I can’t believe I’ve been coming here for 5 years and never stopped at this place a guy at the boat ramp told me about it this morning!!!!! I WILL BE BACK SOON ! Thank you for a great end to my day and vacation!!!

Food was absolutely wonderful our 1st night. Was suggested to bring our catch from our fishing trip back to them the next day. Blackened red fish was absolutely amazing. And Melissa Clark was such a wonderful server!

This place has done a complete 360 it was dark and dingy before no one seemed to care my friend wanted to go there today I didn’t really wanna go but glad I did really changed my opinion of this restaurant!!! I will be a regular from here on out !!! GREAT FOOD GREAT STAFF congratulations to the new owners you turned that place around!!!

Gotta say I avoided this place at all cost !!! BUT I TRIED IT AGAIN AND THE NEW OWNERS HAVE TAKEN IT FROM EWWW TO YUMMY CLEANER BETTER SERVICE BETTER FOOD QUALITY!!! MY NEW GO TO FOR FOOD IN CRYSTAL RIVER ????? Great job guys keep going !!!
I rarely review places I didn't enjoy, but I'm hoping the owner/management will see this and potentially help them turn this place around. We came in for dinner on Valentine's day. The wait staff was excellent! (The star is for the service which was great) The food was, well, terrible. I can't think of a nicer way to put it. The softshell crab was mush and overwhelmed with greasy breading that was also mushy and not crisp. The scallops were overcooked (rubbery) with greasy, soggy breading as well. The country fried steak was "the worst" with greasy, soggy breading and the gravy was just greasy and flavorless. App of calamari was over salted. The red potatoes were boiled to a grey color that resulted in a slimy texture. One of my teens said it best, "I really tried hard to like it." As I stated the service was excellent, but the food was terrible. Our tab was $93. It was overall very disappointing. Hope this is received as constructive. I really think your restaurant could be great. You've got great servers. Now you need a chef that cares about the food.

Watched the Superbowl at the bar and got pretty good service from Katie, even though they were packed. Returned on Tuesday for a basketball game and sat at the bar again with Katie. Had 3 item seafood platter one time and it was good and reasonably priced. When I return next year, I'll be back !

Not a good experience. My mother ordered country fried steak. First bite was so tough she couldn't chew it. Waitress asked if she would like something different and she said she wanted a hamburger medium well and she didn't want it burnt. We were almost finished with our meal when she finally got her burger and it was burnt and dried out. The waitress did remove her meal from the bill. Not quite sure if we will try your restaurant again.

We ate there, the first week of January. We actually went there twice in one week. The server couldn't seat us, but she told us we could seat our selves. And when she got to our table, she immediately apologized; We understood. She was busy. The service was great. We loved their salad bar. The entrees were great. The side items are ok. They weren't bad, it's just the side items were mwaa or whatever that sound is. I had the all you can eat crab on Wednesday, and OMGoodness!!! I went into a crab coma that night. I thought they would serve you scrawny crab legs, nope they didn't, and they were cooked extremely well. The all you can eat crab legs were $60 a person, but I don't know if that price changes with the season.
