YUM! Got the fish dip, fried okra, fried green tomatoes, and shrimp and grits. Another time got a great shrimp po' boy. Fish dip was my favorite and was delicious--maybe one of the best I've ever had. Staff was really friendly.

After a long tiring day I walked in to the restaurant cranky - - left very happy. We tried it based on recommendation from our manatee tour guide. Glad we did. We are in Florida for our grandsons 10th and 13th birthdays. Our grandsons loved the macaroni. Loved it when the owner did a table side magic show. And they totally enjoyed their bread pudding dessert. We enjoyed the drinks. The oysters is the only item we tried that we wouldn't order again which really isn't their fault. We all loved eating at this restaurant.

Food was great! Special on steamed clams that day , 50 little necks for $15. Fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and Gumbo. Waitress was very efficient. Food was fabulous! Will definitely go again!

I never write reviews, but I had to take the time to recognize The Seafood Seller. It was amazing. We took our scallops there and had them grilled... absolutely delicious!! Jimmy the owner also did a few magic tricks for our table, which was also great. I highly recommend The Seafood Seller.

This place was super good!! We just moved to the area and wanted some good food. Looked up the reviews and headed here. Place was packed! We couldn't get a table for a long time but for sat at the bar super quick! Service was good and food was honestly delish!! Very New Orleans feel and food seemed to be based off that as well. Jambalaya was soooo good and a big portion too. Beignets for desert we're great to share. My husband ordered the mahi and it was great! The blackened style was to die for. Also we added a shrimp skewer and loved that. I think it was a full bar as well from what I could see. Loved the food but maybe a reservation if they take them

Busy but worth the wait. Please note that you may be waiting in line for a table, especially on the weekend. Don’t count on being seated at their bar, it is not that big. But like I said the food is great. You would be surprised that this is a Cajun style restaurant in Crystal River, even though they offer steamed calms which this area is noted for. I had Catfish Louisiana, two Catfish filets with crab cakes over the top and smothered with crawfish etouffee. Pricy but excellent. Others had Maui mani which was blackened. Spicy and excellent. Don’t let the location scare you…it’s in a strip mall.

With the price of gas, and the distance from our house, and the cost of restaurant food, it is rare when we go to any restaurant. Today, I was in the area, so I placed a take-out order for a grouper sandwich and a bowl of gumbo. When we first went to Sellers Seafood, Jimmy introduced me to their gumbo, and it was delicious. Normally I get the fried shrimp and the wife loves the grouper sandwich. And today was no exception for the sandwich. But when I got home, about 20 miles away, I discovered the gumbo I ordered was Chowder. But I figured what the heck, I'd expand my horizons and give it a try. Maybe if you like heavy salt and strong seafood flavor, you'd have like this. But there was nothing there for me, tasted terrible and extremely salty; so down the drain it went along with my $10 I paid for it. I've raved about this place to others, but I'll have to reconsider a recommendation.
My husband and I went in today and wow, our food was so good and large portions as well. Very inviting atmosphere, friendly staff and clean!! Will definitely come back again! I got the fried oyster poBoy (medium fried) with red beans and rice and my husband got the Crawfish PoBoy with mashed potatoes, we also got Gator Bites.

We're from North Carolina and visit friends most every year living near Crystal River. We always go on our bar and restaurant tour which includes Seafood Sellers. I always get the bacon oysters and Sellers shrimp and a local IPA beer. Our server this time was Krystal and she was great. We actually went twice during the week we liked it so much. Jimmy also came by the table and did some of his magic tricks - he is amazing both in providing a great place to eat and socialize. Hope to see you again before next year!
