Chose this hotel for the location near the airport and the airport shuttle service - other than the location that is the only 5 star experience I can give. Not much else within walking distance except Bass Pro Shop- there is a small bistro in the lobby but not much kid friendly food.The hotel is older and the beds in the room I had were awful - 2 queen beds -stayed multiple nights and both beds gave me a sore back. The air conditioning is a unit that blows air located near the window - while it is blowing it is extremely cold in the room. The room also had a small love seat but I assume it is missing a pillow back - the seat is very deep and uncomfortable to sit on. The room has plenty of outlets and storage space but no luggage rack. I used the free internet but the connection was spotty- never was the signal full strength. In the three days and two nights - no staff spoke to me - I didn’t get a welcome - or a good morning from anyone - when I checked in it was a very “matter of fact”. There are two elevators but it seemed as though only one was working - there was a long wait anytime I needed an elevator, others made this comment also - I was on the 3rd floor so the wait was often also their is a huge vent in the hallway that blows air on you while you are waiting for the elevator - doubt I will stay at this location again - the beds were very uncomfortable.

Good convenient place for a pre or post cruise stay. Quick pickup by the free shuttle bus at FLL. Good sized and clean room. Comfortable beds.Note that there is a train track is next to the hotel. A light sleeper may sense the train passing through in early morning. Also there are not many good restaurants within walking distance.

We had our Quarterly meeting at the conference yesterday. And we are very happy with the excellent service provided by the Event Specialist Carolina Perez for her flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Also, Fritz from the onsite team also provided excellent service to assist us before and during our event.Parking space is sufficient. Location is good. Highly recommended for conference meeting.

Platinum Bonvoy here. I cannot say my stay was bad but certainly not the Marriott experience I’m used to. Very long line at the check in desk as a van load of cruisers just unloaded, but that’s not the hotels fault. My biggest complaint was rooms were not available even though I was checking in after 3PM. And I hate to be nitpicking but charging for parking??? Really??? Aren’t we done with that? The $10 a day charge through the text or app is really $11.78 after tax and “service fee”. Just wrap it into the room charge and I won’t see it or care. Making me pay independently for parking is a turn off. I’ll stay loyal to Marriott but I won’t stay at the Courtyard Dania Beach again.

We stayed here in January and I was amazed with the hospitality by Teresa the Front desk agent, Always smiling and willing to go above and beyond expectations and overall staff were good too, we were stuck in Fortlauradale bcz my wife had forgot her passport in canada , But our stay was amaing at the hotel had comfortable beds, shuttle bus on time and pool was amazing too. thank you all and will always stay at this property for my future visit. prathamesh and stephy.Rooms: Amaing and comfortable rooms.
We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to a Tri-Rail station. The hotel shows its age. The carpets and floors look old and dirty. Staff attitude is hit or miss. You might deal with staff members who smile at you and are courteous while others are just there to make a living and it shows in their attitude. When we checked in, we were assigned room 512. The a/c was freezing cold and the thermostat was not working. At 2:00 AM I asked to be moved to another room and was lodged in room 411 which had a working a/c. Next morning I was double charged for breakfast although I had made staff aware that I had prepaid for breakfast. Staff assured me they were going to refund my credit card. Instead of a refund, I was charged again and had to file a dispute with my credit card company. I will not stay at this hotel in my next trip to this area. Too many hiccups and great deal of hassle.

On December 26, 2023 at 9:45pm we went down to the hotel lobby for some Coffee and Tea, the Starbucks area, the manager served us with an out of place behavior, very hostile with very little empathy, her customer service was very bad and very unprofessional, being the manager she should manage her emotions more and have a little emotional intelligence, she urgently needs to receive more training because she treated her own co-workers with a despotic attitude. Madam, if she does not like serving clients, look for another job that makes her happier, it can be seen on her face that she is not happy with the job she does. You are the image of the cafeteria.
