Came to see drag show being headlined by Alyssa Edwards. The venue is big. I was surprised at the amount of people it fit inside. Yes! You are sitting practically on top of each other but I assume that changes depending on the line up. We had VIP tickets but that only meant you got preferred seating. Once inside there is a two drink minimum. We ordered their fish bowls since it is actually about the same price as two drinks but you only get one in a plastic fish bowl. They do offer food. Nachos were pretty big and quite good (for the place), so was the pretzel bites. The burger was ok. Our server was super knowledgeable and friendly. Pricey but fun thing to do once in a while.

Great location, very nice venue, amazing comedian. It was worth going for the laughs. The food is sub par, the nachos are the worst I have ever had. A huge mountain of chips with some toppings (a few black beans, a ton of jalapeño, some white sauce, rubbery chicken) for $17. The two drink minimum should be changed to a $ minimum or up the price of the ticket and save the waiters from a situation where they constantly have to remind everyone "you know there is a two drink minimum". It is uncomfortable for everyone involved. Gratuity is included in the check, I almost double tipped.

The food here was good. The drinks are over the top. You can mix all the flavors. I would come back.

Large venue, can see the stage well from most of the room, Jeff Arcuri was the best!!

What a fun night we had, the headliner was excellent and gave us all a great show. we got there early so we had excellent seats. I had plenty of time to get our drinks and food before the show started. We had some chicken nachos which was a really large plate and cheesecake for dessert and some good drinks to go along with it. The manager, Matt K and staff were very friendly, and our waitress did the super job taking care of us. There was a packed crowd there, but they have plenty of free parking in the garage and parking lot. Can't wait for another good headliner to come.

They did not accept my ticket that was resold to me from a third party, claiming it was a “fraudulent” ticket, but they let you purchase another one directly through them at the box office (The show is totally sold out months ago; they don’t sell any tickets to new customers). You pretty much repurchasing your old seat so they double dip on the ticket sale (the manager acknowledged it when confronted). They did this to many of us. I have never seen anything like this. This is probably illegal. The show was great.

Know before you go:The drinks are overpriced, and you must buy 2 per person (they do warn you of this on website/tickets).Eat dinner before you go, the food is not great.Seating arrangement sucks, you're sqeezed tight in these long lines of tables and you can't see at all in some situations. There are definitely better ways to accommodate people for this type of show! When doors open? I still don't know... looked through FAQ, tried calling the venue (no answer), arrived 35 minutes early and that was not early enough to be in a good seat.Review got 2 stars because Jeff Arcuri's show was hilarious!!!

Where to begin.... I have never experienced such a lack of ethics from a business in my life. After arriving to the DANIA BEACH IMPROV, with printed tickets in hand, I was quickly informed that my tickets were fraudulent. The part-time sleuths that were employed there , were able to deduce that these tickets were fraudulent because I didn't know (off the cuff) the telephone number associated with the person who bought the ticket. I asked them to scan my QR code (the one that was PRINTED on the ticket) so we can verify that the ticket was valid. They refused and sent me to the box office to purchase new tickets for the show. After a quick glance at the box office, it was easy to see that THE DANIA BEACH IMPROV is KNOWINGLY charging guests AGAIN for their ALREADY PURCHASED TICKETS. Upon reading this , you may ask yourself, " how do you know that is what's happening?" The show has been sold out on the website for weeks, The amount of ticket holders sent to the box office was about 75-80 people. The venue can hold 40-375 people at once. So they were able to "suddenly" have available 80+ new tickets for the show? The Day of? And that was just from when i arrived.... at 8PM .... The time that the show starts. EVERY SINGLE PERSON (not even joking) in that line had a actual ticket , purchased from a retailer , that THE DANIA BEACH IMPROV REFUSED to scan , under the guise of "These are fraudulent tickets because you don't have sufficient knowledge of the person who purchased the ticket." Enter stage right : Diego Giraldo (Full time manager, part-time house plant).... what a perfect example of the co-worker that everyone has experienced that does literally nothing but somehow is able to carry the essence of a WWII Veteran returning home just in time for the victory parade. That's all i have to say about him since typing that description took more thought and care than anything that man could have attempted, that wasn't subsequently flushed shortly after. I watched every single person , show up to the box office window, ticket in hand, and be told that this sold out show is now all of a sudden flush with available seats. Lucky for ALL OF US they were able to sell us these tickets so that we didn't feel bad about our situation. Once i arrived to the window, i was able to get 100% confirmation that both of my tickets , were in fact valid. So naturally, im expecting to end this ordeal and call it a wash. NO WAY were they going to let someone walk in without charging them again! The claim stayed true, Since i didn't know the telephone number of the person who originally bought the ticket... The ticket is fraudulent. So why the rant? Why the long, bitter , salty, "karen-esque" review? I refer to the perfect saying by Mr. Dave Chapelle. "Because F#@$ 'em, Thats why" If you ever want to go to a show at THE DANIA BEACH IMPROV, Don't. If a show is sold out on the website, and you really dont want to miss it, just show up and wait in line at the box office. There will be tickets available because THE DANIA BEACH IMPROV will SCAM EVERYONE they can.Any response DANIA BEACH IMPROV? or maybe this post is fraudulent.....

Only complaint, is that they have a 2 drink minimum. This should be a $$ amount minimum. If you are spending money on food (and the food and drink is not cheap there), you should not also be required to buy 2 drinks. I've been a few times, and didn't want anything to drink, I was just eating.

I've been more times than I can count! It's a great place...the staff, the drinks, the food. It's my favorite improv in Florida?

Yury Vaynriber

Clean venue with decent bar food.

It's been a while since I've been to a comedy club, and my first visit to this one. I was impressed with the space for seating. We weren't in the VIP section; but still had plenty of space with great views of the stage. (I've been to other show where they pack you in like sardines.). We had 3 people in a booth; with plenty of space to get up if needed. Our show was "Channing Crowder- Unacceptable." It was dirty, as expected, and a full house for an early Sunday evening. We thought it would be an early night with a "6:00 show"; but the opening comic didn't even come to the stage until 7:00, and Channing didn't come on until about 8:00. There was plenty of free parking, so that's good. There was also a 2 drink minimum, which I feel all comedy clubs have; but prices weren't outrageous. It was just $7-8 for a beer. (Although they were out of a lot of options.). They also had a full liquor bar and several specialty cocktails catered specifically for the show. We figured it would be a late night so we decided to get food. We first ordered the nachos, which were a big portion and really yummy, but kind of messy. Later we got a charcuterie board to share. It had a lot of variety; but they didn't bring any plates or forks to go with it. (If you order it; ask for them ahead of time.). Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and everybody was hustling to get food and drink orders out before the show started. I would definitely recommend the Dania Improv! It's a step above comedy clubs of past days. I actually booked another night there for April with a group of girls....,hoping for another great experience!
