Hunan Wok is my go to when I am hungover or in need of a great Chinese food meal. The portions here are massive and big enough for 2 people or 2 meals. I usually get the sesame chicken and it is so good, tons of flavor. It's very greasy but when I come here I'm usually not worried about the calories. The place is very small and mainly meant for take out, it's a hole in the wall type spot but it always hits the spot. As long as you know that you aren't getting a 5 star restaurant but going in knowing you're going to get an oily meal packed to the brim you will leave happy.

First time I visited this Chinese restaurant for lunch the food was decent. The restaurant is not big inside and is a take out spot. I called my food ahead of time and it was ready when I arrived. The guy at the counter told me they do not accept American Express cards. I had to go back to the car and get another form of payment. I re visited this restaurant for lunch again, but this time I found hair in my food. I was in disgust. Of course, I had to throw away my entire meal. I ordered the pork fried rice and chicken wings. It was hair in the rice. I would not return back here again.

I've had a few things from this establishment. House fried rice, bourbon chicken, chicken wings and crab rangoon. All we very delicious! Wings crispy and the rice, yes lawd. Sometimes you don't eat all the rice from other spots. They rice is on point. But that bourbon chicken is that move and they have it for a lunch special. Definitely would recommend this place. Tried them for lunch, then come back for dinner. Yeah this my spot on this side of town.

Food is always fresh, tasty and hot. We had beef and broccoli, orange flavored chicken, house special egg foo yong, fried dumplings, fried rice, spring roll and steamed vegetables. All were extremely flavorful, good portions and the perfect spices. I would give a 5 star if the6 freshened the place up. Its clean just extremely worn down...

I am familiar with the food at Hunan Wok from it's Hollywood location. The restaurant wasn't busy so my order was placed and prepared really quickly. The fried rice was cooked to satisfaction, wasn't greasy or salty.Chinese food is something I get the taste for once in a while so I may stop here again if I'm in the area.

I came to the Beachway Plaza to get some soda from Publix. Soiid Chinese take out spot. Huge portions (bad for me) and reasonable prices and deliver to me near SE 17th street causeway and A1A. I've been living here for 3 years and Hunan Wok is on my list.

It's a family own and operated. And the people there really get to know you. The food there is very good. And always hot. Made with love.
