Nice atmosphere. Other than that? Nothing. Lacking completely. As both a Puerto Rican and a chef. I was embarrassed by this place. Severely overpriced for what it is. 6 tiny surullitos are $11… They were broken, soft and lukewarm at best. Not crispy or even presentable. Same story with the bacaladitos. The empanadas are the only thing that’s fairly priced but surprise…they are hollow! Completely empty. Soup? Salty. $12 for a cup- not a plate- a cup of soup. Even a margarita that should be basic enough to make, real, but old- passion fruit (you can taste it). Honestly. This is Taking advantage of a culture. $56 for the side things mentioned above. Actual plates? Cheapest was $28. I have no problem paying this if they were an actual plate of food. But this was highway robbery. Anything positive? I do recommend the mayo-ketchup… it was the best part of each dish.

Great food and ambiance. Took my girlfriend and her daughter for Puertorican food and they loved it. Nice staff and very cute restaurant. I had Mofongo with skirt steak. It was delicious. A bit pricy but worth every penny.

I VISITED IT YESTERDAY, BEFORE ARRIVING I CALL TO FIND OUT IF THERE WAS AN OPTION OF MEATS THAT WOULD BE PREPARED AT THE MOMENT, SINCE MY DAD SUFFERS FROM HIGH PRESSURE AND ALEXIS, IF I'M NOT WRONG, WAS THE ONE WHO ATTENDED ME AND GAVE ME SEVERAL OPTIONS. AND WE ARRIVED AT THE RESTAURANT. AND REALLY EVERYTHING WAS RICH, MY DAD WAS ABLE TO ENJOY A CHILLO STEAK WITH MAJADAS AND SALAD, MY MOM WAS ABLE TO ENJOY MOFONGO WITH SHRIMP AND I WAS ABLE TO ENJOY A RICH CHURRASCO WITH COCONUT RICE!!! RICH'S MOTHER!!! THE YUMMY DESSERT, THANK YOU THANK YOU! WE WILL SEE US AGAIN. I LIVE NEAR YOU.RECOMMENDED!!!?

We live in the area and were looking for a new spot. We saw the reviews and decided to go. I'm so happy we did. The food was delicious! Everything was hot and fresh. The drinks were pricey but worth it because I could actually taste the alcohol. My husband and I shared El Yunque. It was amazing! There was so much flavor. The alcapurrias were on point. We will definitely be back.
