This is my go-to takeout in Davenport. The chicken and pork fried rice are pretty decent. Portions are a bit smaller than some places, but the taste is better than anything nearby

Been going there for several years but things have changed for the worst. Had ordered the Spear Ribs and they were over cooked like eating bad beef jerky. Called them up and they said would give me another dinner to make this up. I then ordered the Shrimp in black bean sauce and it tasted okay. But a few hours later I got the worst food poisoning from this food I had in a long time. I am now too afraid to ever order from them again.

Order our meal on line, ready to be collected on our way back from Epcot. Food was ready on time. Portions were very generous, and foot was tasty, and hot. Would thoroughly recommend.

The mongolian beef had the correct amount of spice. The beef was very tender. The perfect amount of onions in the luxuriously flavorful sauce made this a superb dish. Door Dash was fast, friendly and efficient.

Messy and dirty lobby area. Shabby furniture and dated photos of food. Bathroom sign days out of order (hint: get a plumber). The food is not flavorful and very mediocre. This establishment exhibits no pride in what they do. Two dinner items nearly $30 and not worth the price. Please . . . could one of these countless strip mall Chinese restaurants produce consistently outstanding food??

I work over at the publix and was disappointed on my break to see that the food I had brought had been eaten by someone in our break room. So, alas, I needed something to eat, and I was pretty hangry. I walked over to Golden Dragon and instantly received nothing but pure friendliness and awesome conversation by the man working the front counter. Aside from that, they had my food ready in 10 minutes which was outstanding when I was expecting a 20+ minute wait. This place is awesome from their service to their food. It won't disappoint.

I went the first time here, ask for two combination and a side of fries, my combination was a pepper steak with NO ONION, when I get home my combination was fries and meat no rice at all, and then I went back so they could fix it, they gave me a new combination with tons of onions, could not eat it at all! And the over charged me so I let them know so they could give the money back and they did! Im so disappointed

This place has pretty decent Chinese food for this area! Their delivery through DoorDash was delivered quickly and was very hot. We ordered the steamed dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken and veggie mei fun. They all were good portions. The steamed dumplings were tasty especially with the sauce. The veggie mei fun was also tasty and not greasy like some can be - our favorite of the bunch! The sweet and sour chicken was good and had a nice flavor. The breading on the chicken (both chicken dishes) was thick on many pieces and more breading instead of chicken, but some were less breaded. The orange chicken was the least flavorful and our least favorite of the bunch. Overall, it's a good place that we'd go to again and it has pretty decent takeout chinese food that most will enjoy. Better than most chinese takeout in the area, for sure!

Best Chinese food in town hands down!!! You will not be disappointed. Accurate, accommodating and delicious. Great variety. It's become my second home I can't get enough of this place. Love it!
The young man at the front scrowled as was ordering my vegetable-chicken. I don't eat the corn and asked to add extra carrots which he didn't add, but he charged extra. I also hinted to add gravy as I got dried out chicken and veggies before. When the order came out it was watered-down vege - chick, not attractive looking and not a least bit of taste of chinese flavor nor spices. They should only focus on seafood now!!!

I'm not sure where some of these 4 and 5 star reviews came from but they are folks that never had good Chinese food. Let's face facts my friends, there are a lot of poor restaurants in FL and that is why chain restaurants consistently rate highly on Yelp. Many a palette has been ruined growing up here. It's sad, but I digress, on to the review. We ordered a variety of items and a pu pu platter and amazingly, there was hardly any flavor difference between all the food - Everything tasted the same...it's hard to pull off that level of mediocrity. Portions and prices were good but the kitchen area did not appear very clean (contrary to some reviews who praised cleanliness). Disappointing because it's a convenient location to where we live but we will not be returning.

if you lover a good egg drop soup give golden dragon a try. We also had a sweet lemon chicken, pork fried rice which had good flavor and lots of veggies and roast pork with broccoli which had an nice sauce.

It’s very unfortunate. This was a very good place 6 years ago. About 2 years ago a new owner came and now you don’t know if it’s a Chinese food restaurant or a seafood restaurant. The pork in the lo mein taste like their refrigerator. The egg rolls sane think. The lo mein is super sticky and gross. Boneless spare ribs... I can’t even describe. Nasty. It’s so bad now unfortunately. Once it was the best in our area.

I ordered through Uber eats. A portion of my order was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know and they argued with me for almost 20 minutes that they sent before and correct order and claimed that I had just ordered wrong which I did not. Very poor and rude service. I will not be ordering from them again. Food was only OK tasting.
