We arrived at 3pm on a Tuesday and the place had several full tables, perhaps they weren't expecting this and were understaffed. The waiter was sweet and tried but was overwhelmed. The crab cake was good but made with fake crab, which probably should've been mentioned on the menu. We ordered steak and shrimp hibachi but it was delivered minus the steak. The waiter was apologetic and showed us that he had rung it in correctly, we had to request an adjustment to our bill. The shrimp was tasty but cooled significantly before it reached us, while the vegetables were piping hot. The vegetables also tasted good but the rice was hard and tasteless other than a strong aftertaste of black pepper. Perhaps we were there on an off day as it seems to be a popular place. Or perhaps they were first time visitors too.

Second time in a week coming to eat in hopes that the next time would have been better. The service I have experienced is horrendous. Waiting at the front door while the servers and I believe family ran owners saw myself, husband, and daughter patiently waiting but did not acknowledge us till 10 plus minutes later if we wanted to be seated. Smh was seated then waited another 15min just to get a server for drinks. The worst part is three separate people came to take our order and the lady forgot to even put our order in. Took an hour to get our food that was edamame, three ramens and two sushi rolls. Horrible.

Came in again and there were only 3 tables occupied (just couples) and like 4 tables were dirty (all throughout the time I was there. (2 hours.) They only have one waitress but two other people "helping". We waited more than an hour for our food, and in that time we only got checked on like 4 times by different people. One of the orders was wrong. Food took more than an hour (for 4 hibachis and a steak). This place is a waste of rent, it has the potential to be the best restaurant in the area but the people in charge of this place NEED SOMEONE TO MANAGE IT. Kitchen is slow as hell. Do not order drinks. The mashed potatoes are from a carton, not home made. Vegetables are definitely from a bag. Food is good, but definitely NOT WORTH WAITING FOR. If you do come in, make sure you look at the menu and order from the door, because if you take time to look at the menu and order, you'd have to wait too long. Just do yourself a favor and just don't come in. Horrible selfish management. Don't bother telling any feedback to the manager, she literally CHANGED THE SUBJECT.

They literally have 0 customer service. I just wanted to LEAVE and not even eat. It's not worth the wait, it's not worth the stress. I had the worst experience. We were there for 2 hours but ate only the last 15 minutes of those two hours. Imagine the amount of time we were there waiting for our food, not checked on, with like 4 dirty tables around us and one of the employees was just walking by the tables (and us) and not even checking. Good for nothing customer service. I have never been so disappointed, disgusted and MAD. I don't even think the food is fresh, but it's definitely NOT worth your time. Just don't bother.

My husband and I went to get take out tonight and we're upset because our 2nd order took over 35 minutes for 2 rolls. The waitress Arielle heard us saying how upset we were and gave us an attitude about it. She then took my food to the back and had it open doing something with the other male server. We ended up throwing it out since we believe she may have spit in it. She's a disgusting person. Never going back!

Overall very disappointed in a place that used to be good. Ordered Sushi and a Surf and Turf with mixed veggies. My partners enjoyed the sushi however the Surf and Turf comes with a 14oz steak which in this instance was only 8 oz of edible meat. The surf part is 3 grilled shrimp. That had NOT been properly cleaned as seen in the pictures. My meal had mixed veggies and instant Potatoes. After finding the shrimp I ultimately did not eat. Sushi is decent but I'm not a sushi guy.

Placed an order through Google, they didn't even realize they had orders until I arrive to pick it up when I was told to. Had to wait an extra 45 minutes so they could make the food. Was out of some items. Finally got home and the food was sub par, the sushi was awful and the proportion of food was bad but at least the sake was good. Though if I wanted some good alcohol I'd go to the liquor store. Would not recommend.

I had a very bad experience in your establishment yesterday, what disgusts me the most was that the employees were not concerned about my reaction after I showed them the lipstick on the tea cup and how dirty the plate was. Like it was normal to them. This establishment should be closed and I'm reporting it to the BBB and Health Department.

Delicious! It was a bit expensive for a casual lunch spot, but the food was fantastic. We got the paradise roll, calamari, gyoza (steamed), and tuna tataki. Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly and professional. Very happy with our experience.

if I could rate this 0 stars I would. I'm not the type to leave bad reviews at all but wow what a horrible experience. A couple friends and I were in Tampa for the weekend and decided to try this place out. We arrived at 5pm and did not even receive our food till 7pm. Server did not attend us at all after taking our orders, not even to refill our waters which were horrible. The sushi roll I got "JB roll" was slimy: I would not recommend this place at all. After waiting 2 hours we decided to leave and ask for our check the owner was extremely rude they did not want to remove certain things from our order as we never received them and they added an automatic tip after the horrible service. Will never visit again.
Walked in at 11:30 to a disgusting restaurant. Filthy floors with trash from last night still on the floors. Even tables that had been "cleaned" you could see each wipe mark on the table so they used a dirty rag to clean it. The front rug had more fur on it than the pet store. We left. No way would I eat in such a dirty place!

I'm going to start this by saying good location, it's located near some neat stores... I was seated outside because I asked to and it was allowed regardless of only having 2 waiters working. The table I sat at was not flush to the ground, 1 of the 4 legs was suspended in the air which created a slanted table. I placed my order and received dirty utensils and a dirty soy sauce cup so I ended up canceling my order and leaving. The not so pleasant waitress seemed annoyed as well. Not going back their again. Sorry not sorry.

Don't bother! Had hibachi. NY strip steak and noodles tasted texture as if it was reheated food. Their version of the miso soup, oily, dark with no tofu.

Came in, asked about the Nigori saki selection. I was told it's the 'normal' nigori. I declined buying it. We asked for miso soup, it was dark and had no contents. No tofu whatsoever, I asked about that and they added some. Unfortunately it didn't make the soup any better. We were at least comped that. The sushi and fried rice were the only thing edible. We had NY strip steak hibachi. We didn't get asked the temperature at all. When it got to us, with noodles and vegetables; part of the meal was cold. Seemed reheated. The meat (boneless) had about 30% not edible with either pure fat or cartilage that had to be spat out.
