They elimated waitress and waiters. No more watching the cooks make the burgers from the counter side. You order yourself. They became a fast food restaurant. I gave no stars for service because they dont provide service.

The service I was provided here was very poor from the general manager as I was told named Hilda I did a order on the app the funds were removed my account I show that to her and the order she told to me wait 10-15 mins I waited 20 mins and her response was it does not show in the system but I clearly showed it to her in my phone where the funds were deducted and the order in the app she was incompetent and dismissive as well as rude and that’s unacceptable I have never had an issue with Steak and Shake and this has made me not want to be a customer anymore of this franchise just sad.

Apparently table service is a thing of the past at Steak & Shake. I was waiting for tire service on my car, and decided to have lunch at the nearby Steak & Shake.When I enterd, I was informed that before I could sit down at a table, I had to first place and pay for my order at one of the self-service kiosks. Then I could pick up the food at the counter when ready, and carry it to my table.At least I didn't have to tip myself.I guess the next time I plan to take someone out for dinner, I better check first to see if the restaurant still has table service!

As with all Steak n Shakes, the dining is dated, so we decided to have it to go. Veshay was exceptional, and leadership should take note that she will be one of the main reasons we’ll return. Great energy from her, and the burgers and fries were so delicious. BUT let’s talk about those shakes.Wow. Hands down, the best you can get at a fast-food chain. Kit Kat and Strawberry will have you wanting more. Pricepoints are pocket-friendly as well.Skip over the BK’s and Mickie D’s….try this S&S next time and you’ll see the difference in food and costs!

The food was great. The customer service was excellent. Thanks to the most helpful manager in town. Y'all know elderly ppl don't know how to fully use self checkout. She was very helpful. I didn't get her name. I'm going back just to get it. She deserves to be recognized by name.

The years old 5 star review is below for reference. Inside there are no servers. You order and take the tray like a cafeteria. Fries were soggy, food rush prepared and slapped together. Upset i left a tip at check out. Don't waste 35 bucks here for 2 burger combos and a hot dog.Normal Steak & Shake fair. Food hot and cooked as ordered. Staff friendly and visit the table an appropriate number of time. Good place to grab a quick bite. I have never in 5 yrs of stopping by here occasionally when I go to Target have had delay or waiting issues in the morning or afternoon. I see some people are saying that. Not in my experience.
I like the place because the food is very nice and the service is very nice as well they treat me with kindness dignity and respect when I'm there.

Food was not to expectations compared to other steak n shakes they forgot my shakes but made up for it immediately however it took awhile to get it will still go
Maria the new manager makes a huge difference in that store , she will take special care of the customer specially older people , the other day I went with my dad and my dad was having a hardtime he was shocking she went and did CPR fast and save my dad I’m really glad she is there. You need people like Maria in that store that cares about the customers ?
