one of the best "hidden" gems in all of Daytona. The sushi and appetizers are delicious, it is inexpensive, and you get the sense the owner and chef really care about their product and customers - I take every friend and family member that visit to this place first and foremost!

This is the best place in town for Sushi! Always fresh and delicious. They have a dine in area with a very relaxing atmosphere. Great for date night!

THE best. End of story. And I will literally fight anyone who says otherwise. (lol) The only place that tastes authentic. Everything is amazing and reasonably priced. I personally can’t stand all the chain restaurant sushi around and I won’t even bother going anywhere else! I was so happy to find this little hidden gem and I hope they never leave!Ps my favorite is the smoking lava!

This restaurant has no signs on the outside to say what it is. The front door is a regular door with a doorknob. It looks like the service entrance for the Italian place next door. It feels like eating at a speakeasy. The inside is sparsely decorated and dimly lit, except for a motorized disco ball that spins above the center of the dining space. That being said, their sushi is super cheap, super fresh, and incredibly flavorful. Their udon soup is great. They have about as big of a selection of kinds of sushi and different rolls as I have ever seen. This is one of the coolest restaurant experiences that I have ever had.Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian sushi rolls.

It was a longer wait than expected but the food was absolutely delicious. The sushi was fresh with a twist on the speciality dishes.

His restaurant was suggested by the bartender at the hotel we were staying at locally. You would never know it even exists. It is located next to an Italian restaurant on Seabreeze Ave with zero signage except “Beer”, “Wine”, and “Internet” lit up in the window. Frankly, it looked a little shady from the outside and we wondered about actually entering the doors. We did, and was surprised to find a small but neat seating area with a sushi station to the back left of the room. On the walls there were two televisions that were showing pictures as a slideshow. One of them was a picture showing an award to the restaurant as being one of the best in Daytona Beach. We were pleasantly greeted by the only server there, and menus were given. Pictures were on one side and the menu items were described on the other. Very helpful to be sure. You might want to bring a flashlight or be prepared to use the light on your cellphone since the lighting is very dim, even in the daytime. Between the 4 of us we ordered seared tuna as an appetizer along with spring rolls and teriyaki edamame. The edamame was tasty, very different from the traditional edamame we have eaten numerous times at other restaurants. The spring rolls were so good we ordered another round, burning hot and fresh. A total of 4 sushi rolls were ordered along with their chicken fried rice (my wife doesn’t eat sushi). The sushi rolls were all tasty, but the chicken fried rice not so tasty. I considered it a bit dry and without much flavor. We would probably not return as a couple because of the chicken fried rice taste, but as a group it is worth checking out.

Don't waste your time. Numerous better options in the area.Used to be a hidden gem. Not anymore. Usually crowded, and both the atmosphere and food quality has fallen off.The final straw today was waiting for an hour and a half before finding out that our order was never even put in. The waitress was very defensive despite not checking with us for over an hour. Someone else had to cancel their order after two hours when the rest of their party had already finished their food.I will never be returning here.
