For starters they had only 2 servers working the whole restaurant inside and out. We got sat by the hostess/server. I don't know if he (Kevin) was just overworked or didn't want to be serve us ,but first impressions are important to say the least, considering we were the only black people in there for a while. We got sat but didn't get our order taken till about 7 minutes in. The place does need some serious deep cleaning. The pulled pork was just ok ,lacked flavor so I had to sauce it down with there version of spicy bbq sauce . Definitely nothing like Nc bbq. The hush puppies were good, the mac n cheese sucked, it was the kind that comes out of a box. Overall I wouldn't come back to place if I was back in town visiting, definitely had better bbq than this.

Ghostly Coffee

The staff were all so nice and friendly, and the BBQ was delicious. We got a variety plate and the ribs and chicken were very tender we were so surprised! The potato salad has great flavor as well! The banana pudding was mixed, I think the whipped cream had a slightly sour taste and I wasn't a fan of pudding. My partner had no problems though and really liked it!

TROUBLEMAN GAMING

Our server Kevin Kayden stop man lay down, go to sleep take a nap was great on point transparent and attentive but the food was not the greatest probably the worst bbq experience I think I’ve ever had

The worst BBQ I have ever eaten. I sent the ribs back and the second plate was exactly like the first. They were dried out like a piece of Jerky. Tasted old too me. Fries were cold. If I wasn't with my family on vacation,I would have walked out. Super disappointed.

Atmosphere and Service was good. The food, oh lordt that’s a different story. If you like super dry baby back ribs and brisket, this is the place for you! Thank goodness they have like 4 sauces to choose from. Had to smother that all up. Sweet tea was on point.

The sign out front says stroud which is very deceiving looking up on google. But the food was horrible for which every company this belongs to. All the sides taste like covid IYKYK. Meaning no season at all just bland. My ribs were 3 days old and just warmed up. Meaning the outer layer was dry and hard. The inner part was soft and pink. I returned my sides for fries which came back greasy. The only great part about this whole horrible experience was the lemonade. The best lemonade I have ever had. Overall if I could of gave zero stars I would. Also the waiter was nice and sweet.

Waited for 20 mins to be served, if we didn’t ask for a server then we would wait for 30 years. Server was nice but overall service was horrible. Ordered ribs and brisket combo, ribs looked like a left over road kill possum and brisket was more chewy than a bicycle tire. Sides came in a tiny sampling plastic cup. The portion was tiny for the price. I will never ever comeback here again.

The meats were dry, Mac and cheese tasted like velvetta and the bbq beans tasted like they were out of a can. The ribs were lackluster with membrane still on and brisket was very tough. The waitress, Phyllis, was very kind. The table we got for four, stationed against a wall was cramped.

Tried this restaurant as it had 4.1 stars. The waitress was excellent as she checked on us constantly, however the food took about 45 minutes after we ordered. Then, both the pulled pork and the brisket were dry and tasteless. Luckily the bbq sauces were very good so we smothered. Maybe it was an off night…

Just ask for Jill from Pa, made the wait worthwhile the chewiness from the brisket ok and the service was great! It wasn’t the beer talking either.

Old school BBQ joint. Nothing fancy, but nice quality. The pulled pork was excellent, as were the unexpected fish tacos. Sides could be a little hit and miss, enjoyed the fries and green beans, but the mac & cheese and baked beans were just alright. Sauces were excellent, and the staff was as well. Looking forward to going back!
