I have been coming to Daytona for 39 years and this is one of the best meals I have ever had here. The Baked Chicken and green beans were seasoned perfectly. The Baked Chicken was so tender it fell off the bone. The mac and cheese was bomb, and the Banana Pudding and Strawberry cheesecake were a dream! The best part is this place is friendly on your wallet. Seriously some of the best take out I have ever had! I cant wait to order again and try the meatloaf. If you want a delicious homecooked meal that tastes like your grandma made it, this is the place to go.
Amazing food. Everyone from the staff to people enjoying the food was a vibe. Many people travel from all over to get their food. I'll come back every time I get to Daytona.

I had oxtails, greens and yams with a warm side of peach cobbler. The food was excellent!! It was my first visit and they treated me like a king. Great place to come for soulfood.
If you are in the area and looking for some good Soul food this is the place to go. Everything was on point solid 10 out of 10 in my opinion. Nice sized portions great flavor.
I have been disapponted lately with Kinfolk Cafe and will never patronize their business again. Their food portions as of late have been SMALL and their yams are canned. I spent Thanksgiving alone and wanted to use them as source for a "thanksgiving meal" and i was so disgusted and disappointed. They were awful one time before, and then I tried again and i could not believe the disrespectful portions they served, and them having the AUDACITY to serve me canned yams. Those yams were CANNED. They know it! Never ever again.Their food isn't bad, they are just being slick as hell with they way they are rationing food as if we are inmates in prison. A DISGRACE. And they wrong as hell for serving CANNED YAMS. Wow.

I have to say this is one of me and my pops favorite favorite favorite places to go. I am leaving a second review all five stars because the service is amazing. It’s family owned. There’s nothing on that menu. That is not home-cooked stick to your ribs make you want to pass out like you just had turkey dinner Type of food it just hugs your soul I don’t know what else to say about it. Here is gone above and beyond for my add many times has diet restrictions and can only eat soft food at one time even staying open late to make him dinner thank you guys you’re amazing. Amazing amazing amazing. Also to the gentleman that has a cute little puppy. I believe he may be a staff member I’m not sure, but I brought our dog Bailey who is new to being a therapy dog and doesn’t really play nice with other puppies. He was very patient and even got Bailey to become enough to play with his dog.

Best Phillys in Volusia County Hands Down they make Peachtree taste like Trash I had one a Philly Cheese at the Port Orange location never went back had to ask for seasonings because it tasted like nothing but ? Oh my gah, y'all. I just moved here about 2 months ago and I'm always the one who cooks in my circle so when I get run down and tired I know I need someone to cook some good food for me, I need a blue plate special vegetable plate. I chose another soul food restaurant in the same area, but my friends in the car suggested Kinfolks instead, so we called in a to go order. I ordered Mac n cheese, collards, black eyed peas and potato salad. I NEVER eat potato salad that someone in my family didn't make it. Got home, and everything was beautifully boxed up. The potato salad was sweet, and I'm a dilly tater salad girl, but man, it was really good. The greens and peas were perfectly seasoned, and the Mac n Cheese tasted like I made it myself. Thank you so much Kinfolks, you made this southern girl's day! I'm definitely going back for them lima beans and cabbage next time. I hear the fried chicken is awesome too!
