Beautifully decorated for the holiday with a festive martini /drink menu- we went here before attending a play at the Peabody Sam's would one hundred percent recommend the Rum Room to saltine looking for a good drink in a beautiful environment.

This was just a stop on our way to The Keys. Pros: 1) hotel was clean and 2) the majority of the staff were pleasant including the valet and manager on duty. Cons: 1) parking was not convenient and where to park was not clearly visible and it was too far to walk recovering from a broken leg, so we were forced to use the valet service 2) Pillows were like mush and gave no support and we woke up with sore necks 3) Our bill was more than double what our rate was to be. Lady at front desk said we were charged an oceanfront rate by mistake. She did adjust our bill, however, she needed some social skills as she said about 2 words during the time it took her to make the adjustment and it certainly did not make us feel like we were welcomed guests. I didn't find anything exceptional about this hotel.

The hotel bills itself as a resort, but I found it to be very much an average hotel. Nothing was wrong per se, but the room was very dated -- I'm not particularly picky or bougee with hotel rooms, but this looked like every room from the 1990s and the furniture was worse for the wear. Parking was also not cheap ($40 for valet and $30 to self park across the street in a half empty lot with a broken gate). On the plus side, the staff was very friendly (both at the front desk and at the couple of bars on property that I visited). The location was nice, and my pool view room actually had a nice view of the ocean.

Great hotel and great service! Isabela and the team that put together the drinks/food at our conference were great and incredibly fun! They all brought great energy into our conference and were always helpful. Isabela went above and beyond taking care of our group during happy hour

Overall great experience with the hotel. I loved the oceanfront view but definitely needed an update to enjoy an outside balcony experience. The rooms could also use a remodel as well. I was disappointed to find out the chairs and umbrella's were an up charge of $40 a day from an offsite company. I did enjoy using my food and drink credit at the market with Aaron and Jennifer very down to earth people. I would come back to this property again!

Spent last weekend at a Jazz Festival in the hotel. The food was wonderful and the food staff at the convention was very accommodating. Evelyn Rodrigues, the Banquet Captain, went above and beyond. Excellent service...excellent food!!!

Booked a long weekend. Hotel is old and on beach so I didn’t expect 4stars. Experience. That said roach like bugs in the room is horrible. We saw 1 on the second night and by the 3rd day 2 more one in bathroom and another headboard. This is when we decided we couldn't stay. I decided to check out early the front desk didn’t offer to change room, just said I would still have to pay for last night. I showed them pictures of bug on their headboard. I did survey to report my experience, no one contacted me. I called 2 weeks later and then I finally heard from GM. They gave me points for my inconvenience. However to book a room with points you need 30, 000 and they gave me 10, 000. I think the customer service and follow up has me more upset then the bugs. I think Hilton is not where it used to be and I DONT recommend staying on their property especially Daytona beach Florida

What a wonderful experience I had from Carla she was very sweet attentive, and always always there to help to make sure I had the best breakfast possible. Business trips are usually very hard and tiresome but when you have great support staff around, taking good care of you and being there for you. It just makes it feel so much better and Worth all the efforts. Thank you Carla for such a good experience you really took great care of me and made sure I had a fantastic breakfast and such a good experience. Also, what a wonderful view.!

$40 per day valet parking or $30 self parking a block away. The shabbiest furniture I've ever seen in a Hotel/motel. Large stain on the couch, a large worn -through area on the armrest. A dresser that was chipped and tired. Bathroom shower hardly functioned, it looked like the original shower/faucet from 40 years ago when they built the place. This wasn't by design, Shabby but certainly not chic.

The salmon BLT at Don Rico’s was fantastic. I was able to sub for gluten free bread and the chips are delicious. I had a little delay when I arrived and was waiting to get a server. I asked a different server, Felicia and she jumped right in to take care of me with kindness and efficiency. I am very grateful for her smile and care. It’s a big hotel with lots of guests who are typically overheated from the sun, and this restaurant provides a great respite with tasty food and efficiency. Thanks!

Came here, sat for 30 minutes, weren't even acknowledged by the staff. Based on the reviews we were really looking forward to unwinding here. We left when the only person here took a break.

If i could give zero stars, I would. We drove from Deland and paid for valet to skip the ridiculous traffic and parking, and TOLD the valet that we were there specifically for McCoys, and he took the tip and said enjoy. Only to find out the McCoys was closed because of "slow times". We asked about another option, and were delivered to another bar in the hotel, Don Ricos. We ordered and were put on the back burner while the bartender served multiple other guests first. Finally got our drinks and massive bill (drinks outrageously overpriced) and closed out and left. Never again with the corporate bars.

Kimberly is an amazing and personable bartender at this location. But her star shines brightest when she is crafting one of the delicious libations in her personal arsenal or pre-selected menu specials.
