My wife enjoys This type of food & for me it'sJust ok. We walked in & placed our order, then found ourselves one of a few semi clean tables. Most tables were dirty & un- cleaned.They called our ticket # and I went to pick up.Brought food back to our table. My wife ordered The Trio Meal & I ordered chicken with yellow rice, black beans, Mac & cheese & salad. Food was Hot. My wife's Trio Meal was missing the pork. She returned to the service counter to explain she was missing the pork portion. They put the pork in her dinner box.Over all the food was pretty good...Not Very Good just pretty good. Our bill with a water & a coke was $25.60 . The portions imho were extremely small. Though tips were not required, for what we paid it just wasn't a good value. If you want this kind of food either make it at home or find a ma n pa typeRestaurant that serves it. Honestly it just wasn't worth it. Won't visit any Polo TropicalAgain!

My family and I went in because we love pollo (coming from Miami) but when we went in we got completely opposite of what we are used to. First it was very slow in the restaurant yet all the tables were dirty. I had to go to the dirty bathroom for wet paper towels to wipe and clean a table my family to eat at. I got the tropical trio because looking at the picture you get good portions. When we got our food no silverware was given no napkins,forgot our bread, gave me white meat instead of dark meat. I think I spent more time running back and forth for everything they forgot vs eating. They gave me very little rice maybe half a cup. Chewy steak a teaspoon of the roast pork and chicken. I was very upset with what I got. It was rushed and not properly portioned compared to the other pollo locations. This restaurant location has been like this for years and only getting worse. I’m very surprised no one is intervening from a higher level up to get this place situated.

stopped by the first time and was told there would be a 30 minute wait on chicken, no problem, we can come back later. We come back about 30 minutes later, there is no longer a wait on bone-in chicken, but there is on boneless, so I cannot order the food I want without waiting even longer, so I decide on the Cuban. The girl taking our order was pretty rude and did not take our order correctly. We did not receive all of the food we paid for, sides were missing and the Cuban sandwich was soggy. Will not be back.

I've never eaten here do I don't know why it came up for me to review. All I can do is be neutral and rate it right in the middle because I've had no experience with them.
I ordered the Caribbean trio and the coconut shrimp were burnt . I brought it to them (2 pieces because one of the was cheeed on and I didn’t want them to touch it but I told them . They made me two new ones but I was not there priority . I heard the manager say I’m busy and it will be about 5 minutes . I timed her and went back to see if the shrimp were done of course they were they were sitting above the fry basket over the hot grease . And the mojo pork was dried out and almost none on the plate . Why put any on the plate I asked for yellow rice she smugly said you can’t substitute the rice . . They don’t take pride in what they’re doing there and give you an attitude when you have questions . I definitely will find another establishment to eat at where I get good food and a friendly atmosphere .

This location is not good. My food was ordered right at opening and when I went to pick it up it wasn't ready and items were missing. They gave no silverware and not one sauce that I ordered so now nothing for my shrimp or chicken. No napkins.. dry as bone chicken. I ordered all white meat and got dark for bith pieces.. did no one read my order??? I got a receipt for a completely different order. And my dessert item was frozen solid. I'd avoid this place at all costs. The ones in Orlando are far superior. Was definitely not even worth half of the 24 bucks I spent. Lots of 1 star ratings .. and management doesn't seem to care per the comments I see.
