Nice atmosphere but yikes the service was beyond terrible. Seems like another gifted employee program with servers who know absolutely nothing about food or the menu. Absurdly mild service met with disrespectful faces for wanting to ask additional questions or even to split the check on a party of 4 that had gratuity added. Not only this but the food was not even worth the wait when there was only 3 other tables being served. Find food elsewhere, be warned.

We have eaten here a few times during ours stays at the hotel. The server was amazing super prompt and friendly. The food was great every time. Easter brunch was definitely more than delicious. The manager was also so nice. Our drinks from the bars for dinner na brunch were both amazing. We will definitely be back.Parking: Parking for guest only in garage so you will have to find self parking but it’s really close to the Daytona pier.

Took my wife to this restaurant because we were staying at the hotel. Everything started OK, but we felt like we were being neglected. Over a hour passed between appetizers and the main meal. They brought the meal out only when we started complaining. The food was cold as if it was sitting the whole time. I felt the waitress didn't believe we were going to tip. We had more than enough money for the food and tip. The manager did not charge us for the meal, just the drinks. But the experience ruined the night. We walked to Winghouse to eat. Two hotel down... Their food was great!

Be very careful here. One of the female waitresses came out running after me because I did not leave my room number on my bill for Easter Brunch, accusing me of skipping out on my bill. I was not staying at the hotel. All she had to do was open up the bill holder and see that my signed credit card copy was right there. You shouldn't have multiple people handle service if you can't take the time to open a bill fold before you accuse a local customer of ditching out on their bill. Completely offended. Locals beware. Happy Easter.

Food was stale and completely inedible. Was literally old tasting and hard. We sat for over 15 minutes without a server coming to us. Thank god we had vouchers for the buffet because it was absolute trash.

Wanted something nice for our anniversary. Sitting outside next to the ocean viewing a launch from cape Canaveral while dining should have made it special. Our server was also super. The menu and wine list not so much. I should have realized when we got there and there were no other diners in sight. What we did order was very good but just not enough variety on the menu and if you like wine as we do, a list with more than 3 different varietals would be good.

Our server was very accommodating despite the fact that she was assigned to guest on the outside patio and inside, on the opposite side of the restaurant near the kitchen. In addition, my husband ordered the only steak entree on the menu, but the steak was too tough to eat. The server was very understanding and tried to accommodate us.

Hotel restaurants can be a disappointment but this was a wonderful surprise. A wide variety of seafood, steaks, sandwiches and salads will surely provide enough choice for any group. Our Cajun mahi mahi was moist and excellently seasoned. The croissant beignets were a treat. Tanisha was a personable, entertaining and helpful server. As for ambience, it's bit bright, needs some small decor additions to cut the white stone walls, columns, lighting shades and very high ceiling

The food was beyond amazing!!! I had the seafood bisque and wagyu burger and it was so incredible. The service was excellent so friendly and helpful. My friends food was great. Service fast. Of all of our meals in Daytona this was by far the best.

Very clean very friendly staff. Excellent waiter got everything we requested and very funny. I loved the place. If we stay at Daytona Grande Ocean Resort in Daytona Beach we will be back to the restaurant.

I recently dined at Abalone Restaurant in Daytona Beach for Thanksgiving, and I must say it was a somewhat mixed experience. Despite the anticipation of celebrating both Thanksgiving and my birthday, the initial excitement was met with a few disappointments. Despite mentioning in our reservation that it was my birthday and requesting a window seat, none of these preferences were accommodated upon our arrival. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed, with only four wait-staff managing around 10-15 tables. The food, served family-style, was traditional and tasty, yet lacked the personalized touch one would expect for a special occasion. Despite informing our waiter about my birthday, there was no acknowledgment or special mention during the meal. Compounding the experience, the seating arrangement did not align with our reservation. We were seated at a large table set for six, with no effort made to remove the excess place settings. Additionally, the promise of a window seat went unfulfilled due to tables not being cleaned or available. While I understand the challenges of working on a holiday, the overall feeling was that of a routine meal service, lacking the expected warmth and personalization for a Thanksgiving and birthday celebration. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and we were able to take home leftovers. However, for a special occasion, the experience left much to be desired.

My wife and I traveled an hour and a half from our home in Florida to meet a friend who came two hours from another direction. We had selected the Abalone from Google Maps. What a great decision. We were delighted with all aspects. It was an ideal selection and as a result, we will be returning repeatedly. Thanks, Abalone!!

Sunday, 7 pm reservation. ONLY table there. Lights at full blast and no music at all. Lousy "ambience". Service was good, but how could it be otherwise? Drinks good, wine and a martini. Ordered $17 calamari. OK but nothing special. Just like a hundred other places. Ordered French onion soup and it was delivered with no crouton and no cheese! Waiter said it was his fault, why? With no one else in the entire room, zero ambience, and now food a gamble we left. Why risk a $150 dollar dinner here. Talked to Rob at front desk. He apologized and offered us a drink at the bar. We looked over towards the bar. Most of the chairs pulled out while they were mopping floor. Nearby another cleaner sweeping the stairs. Now I'm glad its a clean place but it was 7:30 in the evening!! Didn't want to have a drink lifting my feet and smelling mop water. We went elsewhere and enjoyed the night. Understand this was exactly our evening, no exagerations and no ill will towards the staff. you have a beautiful property and someone needs to manage it! Thanks Tom and Andrea
