So I love a small local bar and that is what this place is. Was in town visiting family. Happy hour crowd is retirees, bartender is locally knowledgeable and friendly.

Went to blackies and got served by a bartender I’ve never met “Jen”. When I met some new friends I bought drinks for them. She got emotionally invested in the situation. When I tabbed out she took a picture of my credit card. Pretty sure she was drunk as my new friends mentioned as well. Be aware of going here. Jen likes to drink on shift and take pictures of your cards, when I called her out she claimed she only took a picture of the front of the card. I’ll be monitoring my account online. Lesson learned, don’t buy drinks for other people ….or yourself here

Only there once,and right away fell in love.The atmosphere was very inviting and the bartenders were more than exceptional, their attitudes were spot on and attentiveness was on point as well.And the customers that frequently go there were comforting as well. Didn't give the feeling of newcomers weren't welcome.Even concerned about why we were leaving so soon(personal issues) and gave awesome advice. Definitely recommend this "down to earth,comforting "environment.

If you like the same vulger alcoholic Debbie downer drugged up crowd arguing all the time and in everyone's business, slide right in shit hole. It has contributed to many corrupt issues involving marriage, family and honesty. Great for the same 15 there everyday.

If you want to hang out with Deltona Finest this is the place for you! You can order in as there is no kitchen just small bags of chips. Service is a hit and miss. Karaoke is great. Atmosphere is again.... Deltona Finest. Would not recommend to anyone who can get offended by loud vulgar conversation. That's your warning. Have fun!

Great little dive bar! Always someone to talk to and the bartenders are friendly and fun. There's tables out front where you can drink and smoke or hangout. Also had pool tables that I saw. But the bathrooms in this place were awesome!!! I was not expecting such nice bathrooms. Definitely will be back.
It's a bar. Most bars aren't fancy. But it's clean and nice and the bartenders are the best. Rosanna, Elizabeth, and Michelle (I apologize ladies for any misspelling) are awesome. There are other bartenders but I have not had a chance to meet them yet. Quiet neighborhood bar that has become an absolute favorite. No real food to speak of although they do offer some snacks, like chips. I don't go here to eat so I don't care whether they have food. I go to relax, have a drink, and socialize with the staff and other friends. Come on out! I'll see you there.

Typical old-school bar in DeBary, Florida. Not much in way of ambiance, as I said, it has that old-school bar atmosphere that you have seen in countless bars not only in Florida, but everywhere.Blackie's Bar has been here for decades. It has been here since I moved to Orlando, Florida back in 2001 and I believe that Blackie's Bar has been here since 1982.The staff is relatively friendly enough and I had no real issues. It was a decent enough place to grab a cold drink before meeting a few friends for dinner.If you are looking for a happening, hipster type bar, than Blackie's Bar is definitely not the place for you. This is the type of bar that caters 6 crowd that is more there in the bar to drink and not worry about ambiance or anything as frivolous as that. Lol.I guess I will give it four stars overall as just a typical old-school type bar.
