If I could rate this restaurant as as negative 10 I would. I have been going to Bob's pizza since I was teenager, always the first place my friends would go to before we actually went to the beach... Today my daughter and her friend go there for their first time, me thinking they are going to have a great time eat pizza and go have fun on the beach. My daughter called me immediately when they were done and she said Mommy the waitress just chased us out of the restaurant and demanded we tip her. She said we didn't leave a tip because she was rude to us. If you are going to have a bad attitude do not be a waitress. My daughter said that she circled the amount we should tip her 20%!!! If you need $5.80 that bad than maybe you shouldn't be a waitress.... I was a waitress and I would never demand or chase anyone once they left the restaurant I immediately hung up and called to speak to the manager. I explained the situation and she said yes that she witnessed the waitress doing this and spoke to her about, she said unfortunately this hasn't been the first time the waitress has done this. I am extremely disgusted! As the manager you are telling you witnessed this and didn't stop the waitress from doing this. She said well I will not put this on your bill.....I said I need to speak to the owner, the owner didn't call me back but she called me back saying well yes this is how the waitress makes her money. I said absolutely not, not by chasing 2, 15 year old girls who ordered pizza and two drinks. It's not like they ordered appetizers, entrees! THEY ORDERED PIZZA! As the owner, manager to have a waitress that has done this before and you are okay with it you should be disgusted. This is not the only review I will be leaving.

I had a Pizza and a Salad on my recent trip down with my girlfriend and it was some of the best pizza I have ever had. It's a little pricey for the specialty pizza's, but spring for it...it's vacation!

Bob pizza is located a few steps from the beach in Deerfield Beach. It has been in the same location for over (30) years, that should speak volumes. The restaurant is divided to two, casual dining and better dining ( not sure how to explain it better). I have not been to this area in 25 years. Still looks the same. Stopped by for a quick slice on my way to the beach. Good Pizza, great service. They have sitting inside & out. Limited parking in front, or by meter all around.

The best meatball sandwich ever!! Our party of five was very happy with all their food. The service was very good. One of the places we will return to for a great meal. I noticed they were very busy and dinner time.

Pizza was favorite. Something changed. Last visit every thing about the pie was different. Was not impressed. Bring back the old pie!!!

We recently visited the area and got take out. The order was ready exactly when they said it would be! Pasta and meatballs were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Might be more of our pizza tastes - we prefer a thinner crust pizza then they serve here. Pizza was good though.

We went twice during our stay. Pizza the first time, entrees the second time. Both were delicious! Staff was terrific and friendly. Music entertainer was awesome! (and not too loud.)

The crab cake appetizer was fantastic! It was actually full of crab meat...not bread. The chicken marsala and francese were delicious. My kids had a cheese pizza...which they inhaled! Would definitely go back again!

When I am in Deerfield Beach, I always eat here. Their pizza is awesome and their chopped salad is to die for! BUT, it is expensive, but oh so worth it.
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Amante’s restaurant last night . The atmosphere was electric, the service was impeccable and the food was incredible. This family owned business earned my FIVE star rating ! Well done ?

For what it is, it's very good. The pizza tastes just like the pizza I used to eat as a kid in NY (and which I haven't had for years). Four bucks for a single slice of plain cheese pizza may seem a bit pricey but not when you consider that the slice is huge; one slice each, with beverage, was more than enough for me and my wife for lunch. In fact, the people at a nearby table ordered a medium pizza for 18 dollars and based on a quick glance it seemed to me that you will likely get more bang for your buck by buying three (or maybe even two) slices. Another advantage to this place is that they open at 10 AM. I would have tried Umberto's Pizza, located nearby, just for variety but they don't open until noon. Therefore, I wound up eating here twice over the course of a four-day stay, but that was fine with me: I enjoyed my lunch both times.

Very poor management skills which dribbles down tho the rude hostess or whomever answers the phones. Extremely rude, both of them mind you and apparently is because they are just so busy they have lost site of customer service and care less to give any ! Been on this beach longer then bobs has been there and never experienced the rudeness and careless attitude towards any customer much less local supporter all because they are busy. Here's a hint,.. you are on the beach!! Everywhere is busy, but not everywhere has rude attitudes because you obviously can't handle your success! 25 year customer refuse to dine again!

Appetizer Mussels with red sauce delicious. Entrees are also delicious. I would recommend that anyone who wants good, flavorful food this is the place to go. We are here on vacation, and I'm glad we found this place.
