“Simple. No one is pleasant on the phone anymore, even in business. I call, genuine greeting every time. My food, HOT, FRESH, and doesn't take long. I have eaten there for lunch, picked up at a time I requested, with no issues. Owner knows how to keep it together, controlled, and customers happy. Well done. I'm a New Yorker - so I love the entire atmosphere and vibe. And I thought he was from NY! Nope, just a rarity you find in FL“
“My husband and I love non- chain restaurants and while in town this past weekend, I stumbled across the Pickle Barrel. We were both able to bring home half of our sandwiches for later. The pickles are amazing! Will definitely go back if we are in the area again. Parking: Due to the location, some of the spots are a little difficult to get in and out of, but do not let that stop you from going inside!“
“This place is a hidden gem!! What an absolutely wonderful experience we had here. We wondered in here for lunch one day and were so happy we did. We walked in and were kindly greeted by the people working there and they answered all the questions we had. They had plenty of different food and goodies in the display cases. We first got lunch and I will be honest, I can't remember exactly the sandwiches we got but I do know they were absolutely delicious. I specifically remember the bread being very delicious and all the ingredients being so fresh. If you like fresh cold Italian sandwiches you'll be in amazing hands here. Also, the decor and ambiance of this place is so amazing. It was very relaxing and homey and just a very cute place altogether. We also ended up getting dessert which was just okay. The cannoli had a very light, almost merengue-like filling which I didn't love. I also got some leaf-cookies which weren't my favorite either but despite this it was still a wonderful experience. They have a ton of food and beverage items for sale including different cooking ingredients like olive oil, dressings, delicious sour cherries, and much more! This is a very nice place that I would suggest anyone to try! Thanks!“
“A great deli stocked with many items. Prices are very reasonable. Service is outstanding. The meat department is one of the best I have experienced. Great variety of Polish specific meats and sausages compliment the standard meats and cold cuts found in other delis.Recommend highly for all to visit.“
“I was second time in this restaurant and I was order as usual Żurek.Always when I go to polish restaurant I order Żurek.I am fun of this soup.Forst time was okay but this time was amazing and it was full of everything 2hat you can expect in this soup.Just one which I was like surprised, that was using plastic bowl .Please if you can check this for something different. For some of the clients cud me little bit to much paper, but in my opinion was really great. And service was as usual splendidThank you and see you again.“
“Great size sandwich! I got the Rachel. So yummy. Mable rye was also delicious. Huge enough to share with someone. The girls at the register are always so sweet, friendly, and efficient! My only wish is for the bread to be a bit more thick or substantial compared to the massive amount of meat I get on sandwich! Macaroni salad as a side is delicious too!! Love this place.“
“Jimmy C's Italian Deli is a real gem in Boca Raton! Their subs are quite possibly the best I've ever had. The service is outstanding, and the food is consistently fresh and served quickly. It's my top choice for a fantastic lunch spot!“
“Best deli in Fort Lauderdale. Why? Not just the best foods, including hand carved nova, blintzes to die for, great deli sandwiches, the owners are the nicest people you've ever met.Their catering services are fabulous. Not just great food, but great presentations that make your parties look elegant.Parking: It's in a strip mall with tons of lodging“
“Where can you find the best bagels in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties? Sun Sentinel readers have spoken and it is at the Bagel Snack in Pompano Beach. The Bagel Snack is a 45 year old Pompano Beach landmark restaurant. In 1992 the restaurant was taken over by Jonathan and Thelma Simes who continue to churn out the beloved top quality bagels, deli sandwiches, salads, soup, potato pancakes, knishes, cake, danishes, muffins, rice pudding, cookies and rugelach. On a day off from school I made my to the Bagel Snack for lunch. Tucked into a nondescript plaza on Powerline Road, Bagel Snack is no frills with tables and booths but what it lacks in decorations it more than makes up with the quality of food. On a weekend this place is packed with all of the transplanted northerners from nearby Palm Aire. On a rainy weekday it was easier to get a table. This is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else. I was greeted with honey and sweetie by the lovely staff who made me feel so welcome. It wasn't long before the hot coffee was flowing into my cup and I was presented with a complimentary relish tray with two kinds of slaw and two kinds of pickles. For lunch I ordered the outstanding turkey club and fries. The sandwich was gigantic. It was more than enough for two people and I could barely put a dent in half.Of course I could not leave without some of their award winning bagels which I purchased in the deli area on my out. The Everything Bagel made the perfect late afternoon snack. Bagel Snack makes their bagels every hour by boiling them before baking them in the old fashioned way. They lived up to the hype with a chewy exterior and soft interior that grabs all of the toppings you smear on. They offer thirteen flavors which include plain, pumpernickel, cinnamon raisin, sesame, marble, poppy seed, everything in egg and whole wheat, onion, whole wheat, garlic, rye and salt. You can't go wrong with any of them and you can pair them with plain, chive, vegetable, olive, and raisin walnut cream cheese, and a nova spread. When you are craving New York style deli food, there is no better cure than Bagel Snack.“
“A few years back some friends brought spinach pie from this place to my home and it was delicious. I've driven by hundreds of times and I finally stopped and had lunch with a friend. I had the lamb / beef gyro combo with a Greek salad. The gyro was so good!! I saw in the heating case roasted chicken and big pieces of potato that looked delicious I was too full for dessert however they have a full line of Greek desserts including baklava and cookies. They sell different products such as olives and oil. The place is rather run down, it has a few tables and chairs to sit at inside. I wish they would clean it up a little bit“
“This place is a gem! Quick service great food and smiling faces everywhere. You can tell they take pride in what they do and with good reason! Authentic NY deli, as they say, why settle for NY ‘style’ when you can have the real thing! They’ve been around for 55 for a reason!“
“My compliments to Seaside Subs once again. Delightful atmosphere, always fresh ingredients, locally owned by such cheerful people who go out of their way to be helpful, excellent selection. Ordered a platter of wraps that were a big hit at a family get-together.“
