Was not at all impressed. Had to ask for bread while we waited for our orders. When the bread arrived, four dinner rolls, one for each person dining. The entres arrived and they looked like it came out of a mass production banquet/reception hall that books 6 weddings on a Sunday afternoon. The menu states you get a 10% discount if you pay cash. That tells me two things. 1.they want to save the credit card fee 2.they don't want to show their gross receipts to save on paying taxes. Then the check comes and they are charging the state sales tax. That left a very bad taste in my mouth.

A local Italian restaurant in Deerfield Beach. We arrived for our reservation and saw the place very crowded, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Noisy, but fun. The best deal is the three course meal which includes an appetizer, main course and dessert with coffee at the price of your main course. Very reasonably priced and huge portions. I had the lemon salmon which was cooked well and they put the dice on the side which was appreciated. My husband had the seafood linguine which was full of seafood with nice, large prawns. The Ceaser salad and escargot were very good. The baked pear dessert was only fair. It didn't need the chocolate sauce. The wines were mostly $7 a glass and were good quality. A great value at a new find for us. Will be back.

A good deal. A three course meal (soup or salad or appetizer. Entree plus pasta or vegetables. Dessert plus coffee or tea) for the price of the entree plus a ten percent discount for cash. I have a tough time deciding between the escargot in pesto and the tuna oriental appetizer. Almost always I order the duck a l’orange and the rich dense flourless chocolate cake for dessert. The duck is a “special” that is usually available, and very good. Crispy skin. Served with an orange slice and an orange sauce. Portions are ample. We find we can share one dessert and take the second home to enjoy with half of our duck and pasta for another meal.

This is a well known Northern Italian cuisine restaurant. Easy to find with ample parking. It’s just like a big cosy dining room. Reservations are necessary. I had the Chicken Cacciatore which was absolutely delicious, sweet and soft... a huge serving. My wife had the salmon with veggies equally good. The ice tea kept coming and the two cakes for dessert were great. We came with a credit card but if you pay cash it’s 10% less.

As usual, wonderful food and service at quite reasonable prices. We will certainly continue going there.

There were 7 of us, and everyone liked his/her meal. How often does that happen?? The meals all come with an appetizer, salad or soup, the entree, dessert and coffee or tea. When I saw that on the menu, I was leery. Usually that means rather poor soup, salad, appetizer and desserts. Not so here. The Greek salad was excellent with a big slice of feta and calamari olives. I had the tuna appetizer, and it was perfect. Several of us had the veal scallopini and were very happy with it. One woman had tuna and loved it. There were several good choices for dessert. I thought the best by far was the chocolate cake. We will definitely go back.

We were two couples for dinner to celebrate his birthday. Each of us had something different. But each dish was superbly delicious. We started with 3 salads and 1 soup. Everything was terrific. The service was perfect. The main dishes were: a) Chicken Cacciatore b) Tuna c) Salmon alla Lemone d) Salmon alla Tuscana Everything was perfectly prepared, and the taste was heavenly. The sides were vegetables that were just perfectly cooked. For dessert there were four: a) Creme Caramel b) Flourless chocolate cake c) Riccota Cheese Cake d) No sugar added vanilla ice cream Each was very tasty and a perfect ending to a perfect dinner We'll be sure to return again.

We tried this restaurant based on the reviews found on Yelp and I am glad we gave it a try. Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The food was well prepared and not overly salted, as is usually the case. We had caesar salad, lentil soup, eggplant parm and chicken parm. Getting dessert and coffee included was a nice lagniappe, as I recently learned from Kevin Belton, which means a little something extra!

If I meet you for the first time the topic of food will probably come up and when it does I am going to ask you what your favorite restaurant is which to make a long story short is how I found Chef Dooly. I was in the teachers lounge at school and we were discussing our favorite topic of food and someone mentioned this was their favorite. Ding, ding, ding. By the way if you are reading this and you have a favorite Florida restaurant message me. I first tried to go back in February with my daughter but it was full and they wouldn't seat us. Ever since then I have been begging my born organized friend who is capable of making plans and reservations to go with me. Fast forward to June and we are finally here. I would have gone sooner but I assumed they were packed every night. Reservations were made but the funny thing is at 6 o'clock we walked into a completely empty restaurant. Chef Dooly is located in ubiquitous strip mall, the kind of which we have thousands of in Florida. If you didn't know about it you would probably pass it by. Don't bother looking for a restaurant web site, they don't have one. The interior of the restaurant is one large dining room with Italian murals painted on the wall. They have a great deal where you can get a three course meal for the price of just the entree. Dinner included bread, an appetizer, entree, dessert, and coffee. For $15 I had rolls, house salad, chicken Franciase with linguine, coffee, and tiramisu. The portions where huge. I took home half my entree for lunch today. More importantly the food was delicious. I loved everything about my meal. Later in while we were eating some other diners trickled in. If you want a great value and delicious food, you can't go wrong here. I like how you aren't confined to an early bird time period. They only thing better than the food was the company. Thanks for joining me ladies!

We had a very good dinner here this evening. We all had their "3 course feast" which for the price of the entree of your choice included soup or salad or select appetizer plus dessert and coffee. We'd made reservations, as in season the restaurant gets quite booked, but midweek off season, we didn't really need one. There were only a few other tables occupied. And parking was easy in the shopping center lot right out front. First, we began with a basket of warm rolls and cold butter. The bread was a good opener as we decided what to order. We each ordered a different starter -- soup, house salad, and a Caesar salad. My Caesar was a huge portion of romaine lettuce liberally topped with grated cheese and crunchy croutons. The house salad included mixed greens and tomatoes; the soup was a good minestrone. For entrees, we again each chose something different -- and each liked our selections. We had chicken francaise with linguine (and more lemon sauce), chicken rollatini (chicken wrapped around spinach, asparagus, peppers; topped with cheese and a grand marnier dipping sauce in the side) with linguine pomodoro as the side and my chicken ortelano (sautéed with artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes in a lemon, wine, butter sauce). I chose steamed broccoli for my side. Portions were huge and we each took half home for another meal. For dessert, we chose 2 tiramisu and 1 espresso chocolate cake. The tiramisu was light and airy. The chocolate cake dense as fudge and oh so richly delicious. It really was a feast of a meal -- so much food -- and we couldn't believe it was all for about $20 each before tip, without wine. Of course, the price will vary if you order the higher priced entrees. And if you pay cash, there is a 10 percent discount. If you've wanted to try this place, now is the time to do so.

So I made plans to meet up with friends for dinner last night, they have a three course special and always game for trying a new Italian place. So looking through the menu, there were a lot of options-I was debating btwn chicken parmigiana or the chicken rollatini. Rollatini it was and chose minestrone soup to start even though it definitely wasn't a soup day lol, and the chicken came with broccoli or a side of linguini pomodoro. Dessert was included as well. The soup was delicious, perfect size to start with but I think I would get a Caesar salad next time as I was eyeing my friend crunching away on it lol. The chicken was delicious, it was stuffed with asparagus, spinach and roasted peppers topped with melted cheese and served with grand marnier sauce on the side. I loved the sauce, I am all about sauces lol The linguini was um, not so hot. The pasta was cooked fine but the sauce was just really awful. It was fine, gave me room to enjoy the delicious tiramisu for dessert. I would definitely come back and in off season, apparently this place gets packed!

Chef Gruely! Flavorless microwaved cafeteria food! If you want to enter a time warp and eat reheated food that tastes like corn starch have at it. Our friends raved about Dooly's. We were unfortunately thoroughly disappointed. Not sure where the 4 star reviews come from.

It's an early bird special's dream. The food is ok. It's not amazing by any stretch but the value is good and when I don't feel like cooking, i'm all good with going to Chef Dooly. The only thing that i really don't like is the Creme Brulee. It's overdone, like scrambled eggs meets thick sugar crackle.
