Great casual brunch experience. Food and coffee was excellent. Only note to the excellent chef was the bottoms of the english muffin were hard on the crab cake benedict. But we would go back in a heart beat. Just to inform, its a louder type place. Also, it has a small outdoor dining space. So impressed with the food options in Deerfield.

Our group of 7 had breakfast here. The crab cake Benedict was good as was the biscuits and gravy. No one had any complaints. The servers were nice.

Went for breakfast with my husband and I really enjoyed it. Food was great & a nice quaint cafe. The wait took about 20 min which I think was awesome considering it was fairly busy when arrived. We came Sunday late morning.

This small quaint restaurant is known for their breakfast menu, prices, and friendly staff. They have specials every week. If you go and see the Crabcake Eggs Benedict on special, GET IT! Amazing fresh flavor and consistent every time.

It’s so nice to have a beachy neighborhood diner that serves great food…and is also reasonably priced.

Yummy and reasonable priced breakfast. You can't go wrong unless you are in a hurry. Small breakfast place that I think is the neighborhood's go to breakfast place. Two middle aged servers who tried their best to accommodate all clientele requests. Bring your own "real maple" syrup because they don't sell it if you prefer it for your pancake or French toast. Their French toast is awesome. Note - we came on a weekend . Recommended ! Order your bacon crispy otherwise it will not be served that way. You pay in the counter .... that's all folks .

I have been coming to Sylvain Cafe for a year now and always cherished it as a place that was friendly with great food. This morning the experience reminded me no matter what I'm still black. I arrived at the restaurant as usual but this morning it was busy. Put my name on the list for next table. At the time I was the only one on the list and no one else. I told the server I would be outside in the car in front of the entrance and server stated they would come get me. As I waited, I noticed a family left and I told my fiance oh they are cleaning off table. At that moment I saw a couple walk in and I got out car to go in to insure table was claimed. To my dismay they set the white couple down and stated I would get the next table. I believe in customer service and don't want to believe I was passed over because of my skin color but the experience left me not feeling valued as a loyal customer. I try to support local businesses but can't if you don't respect me as an individual. We left and went to First Watch where I was welcomed as a person regardless.

Seriously the BEST breakfast I’ve had in South Florida! If you’re looking for some top notch, made with love, diner style food then this is the place. Went on New Year’s Day and they were super busy but the chefs never missed a beat. The biscuits and gravy were the best I’ve ever had in my life..and I’m from the south so that’s saying something. Eggs & hash browns were perfect. Also had the chocolate chip pancakes. Can’t wait to come back and try the many other options on the menu. Prices are extremely reasonable. Great experience all the way around. Glad we found this hidden gem. Nice job ??
