Stopped at this place because for some reason on a Saturday, so many places are closed at 2 o'clock. I always wanted to try this place. They have a very small menu which makes it easy to choose. The hostess was friendly and the waiter was very nice. The food however, is straight out of an episode of kitchen nightmares. I figured with a grilled cheese and fries, French onion soup and chicken nachos, how could one go wrong? Plus the name and its spelling seem to imply that it's this modern and hip bistro. It was not closed despite it saying so. We waited quite a while to get a drink but the food didn't take too long. Everything was cold. The sour cream for the nachos was actually frozen. I just had this taste of everything being stuck in a microwave or a Panini press and maybe in the oven for a minute or two. This results in a hot outside but a cold inside. After reading they were shut down, now I'm also concerned. The vegetables, jalapeño and tomato seemed fresh. The cheese on the nachos is just a queso. The avocado looked fresh. The French onion soup was OK but despite the bubbling top,it was just warm. It really feels like everything was just stuck in the freezer. The fries tasted like the kind you get in a bag and stick iin a fryer.

Straight trash. Ordered from them tonight... BIG MISTAKE trash... Ordered from them a month ago... garbage... then you call up there to see about possibly rectifying the situation.. NOPE the phone just rings and rings... customer service is none existent... so let's talk about tonight's Order... 50 bucks... my "panko and parm encrusted " grilled cheese has no panko no parm. This is about the third time this has happened by the way. My French onion soup has literally NO broth in it, straight garbage honestly... my finances Mahi tacos , the rice was not cooked all the way... hard rice sucks, not to mention may chip teeth, but hey who cares right? They don't have a customer service support team. There are so many good places to eat in Downtown Deland. This is NOT ONE OF THEM. If you want to waste 50-100 bucks go ahead. Its like taking your wallet and throwing it into the trash can.

Came here for a quick cocktail. Sat at the sidewalk bar. The bartender was nice but would disappear for long periods of time inside, so I had wait for drinks. I wasn't hungry so just ordered a side of fries but those were really good.

The food is excellent! BUT it took about just under an hour to receive our food. They were not busy at all and still took an extremely long time serve our food for lunch. Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review because the food was very good.

Tragic example of togo food gone wrong. Mac Daddy burger came with no bacon or sauce, not to mention the Mac & Cheese wasn’t panko crusted. Risotto & steak had no mushrooms. When a menu states it should have an ingredient follow through. Do better Byte’s. Have some integrity in the food you’re preparing and delivering to customers who are paying ridiculous prices for low quality food.

First time we have ate at any restaurant in downtown Deland and this place was delicious! I had the bbq pork tacos and my husband had a burger. Everything was perfectly prepared.

Always nice to try out new places, saw this on the map and decided to give it a try. Nice to have restaurants have both and inside and outside dining area. Place was pretty busy when we got there but we were waiting on very quickly. Since it was in the afternoon on Labor Day they're out of quite a few things, I was able to get there bang bang shrimp tacos. They were extremely delicious, spicy but tolerable, with excellent flavor. Got an appetizer fried mushrooms which were outstanding! Highly recommend this restaurant

I had the street tacos and they were sort of dry. They needed guacamole or Pico or something. My husband had the fish taco and they were great. So were the French fries I snuck off my cousin's plate!

NOW ITS HORRIBLE FOOD TOOK ONE HOUR COLD JUST ABSOLUTLEY HORRIBLE, manager having shots while watching football…….SAD. My FAREWELL to what was my favorite place in DELAND ?????????????????
Really disappointed!!!! Waited an HOUR just to wait for a soup and a side of fries. Plus my boyfriend ordered a MEDIUM cooked burger and received a burnt burger really disappointing

Nice relax place downtown. Awesome food. Had the shrimp tacos and the Chicken Bacon Ranch taco. The veggies were very crisp and fresh. Will be back. Stop by and check it out

Ridiculously overrated, I decided to drop by after seeing it full every time I went to downtown Deland. The server was also managing the bar, if you are short-staffed reduce your capacity and allow your servers to give better service don't set them up for failure. We left after appetizers and one drink.

The food here was SO good!! Came from out of town and thought the place looked cute. We had the gouda balls, steak and the risotto- all was amazing! The bartender Emily was great and all the staff seemed super friendly. Definitely coming back here next time we are in town.
