This place had so many sweets! The employees even helped us out since it was our first time there showing us the best deal for our party. The ambiance reminded me of those candy shops from back in the day, with so many choices for everyoneto pick. It's definitely a must stop place if you are in for a treat!

I have stopped in Pat & Toni's twice in the past six months. Their product variety is awesome. It's truly a gem of downtown DeLand. My only complaint is that each time I go there, while I am browsing products (of which there are so many), I'm repeatedly asked by different employees if I need assistance. Today my mom and I were asked four times by two or three different employees in less than five minutes of being in the store. This was consistent with my experience earlier this year as well. Perhaps it's just overzealous customer service, but it feels like we're being rushed to make decisions when we haven't been in there very long. I realize it's a small storefront, but we're just trying to shop, then get out of everyone's hair, but that takes more than a couple of minutes. That's all.Response to the owner: Thanks for your reply. I know it's an odd thing to say "the employees were too helpful". I really didn't know how to read the situation. Thanks again.

This store is like stepping back in time. It’s a delightful old time sweets shop. They have hundreds of varieties of pre- packaged as well as in house made candies. They also sell hand dipped ice cream. This store will thrill children and adults of all ages. Good luck getting out without buying anything!Kid-friendliness: The shop staff patiently helped small children who couldn’t make a candy choice. Great service!

I think this place is the absolute cutest ! They have everything sweet you could imagine , the place is colorful , bright and smells like sweets ! I wish the customer service wasn't so bad I'd come back since I have to travel to deland a lot . I guess the cashiers are pretty young but old enough to at least say hello . When you cheerfully walk up to purchase anything they just stare at you ... literally the only down side.

Pat and Toni's is my favorite store for a sweet-treat in Deland. I took my Mom here while we were shopping-about and we kind of went nuts, lol! We both bought about $20 in hand-made chocolate pieces and also purchased some ice cream. We just happened to luck out and be here on a Tuesday. The sweet girl working in the ice cream section informed us that on Tuesday if you use cash to purchase ice cream, you can receive one scoop for just $2. Also, if you pay in an amount more than what the ice cream cost, let's say $5 they will give you a $2 bill as part of your change, very cool! We took the bait thinking this was going to be a dinky little scoop, but nope, it was an impressive scoop; definitely enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. I decided on the salted caramel brownie and it was amazing. Some of the hand-crafted chocolate I chose on this day included chocolate covered bacon, dark Oreo balls, cherry cordials, pumpkin truffles, dark eggnog truffles, white & dark chocolate haystacks, the almond butter crunch, and the dark raspberry truffles. Nancy and I snacked on all of their goodies for a week or so and can testify under oath that all of these items were delicious. The only thing Nancy wasn't crazy about was the chocolate covered bacon, but that is fine by me because I wanted that one anyways. Pat and Toni's also have a large selection of hard, chewable, and soft candy for sale-by-weight too. While we were here, we noticed that staff are great at rotating stock and selling items going out of season like the pumpkin spice products for BOGO. Pat and Toni's have a good thing going and if you love chocolate like me than this is the place for you. If you happen to be in the downtown Deland area, I highly recommend you stop in to check them out.
