“Holy moly!!! Such yummy Mexican food. Sweet couple runs the truck and they have a clean truck that your not afford to eat from. My husband is obsessed with Birria Tacos and me I am all about the red and green sauces. Service was great, extremely friendly and rather quick. The portions were decent and the ingredients were fresh.“
“We had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this small business owner while passing through DeLand Florida. He is on the corner of 15A and spring garden avenue. He's in the Shell station just behind the business.We had beef taco chicken taco El pastore and steak taco. We would suggest the El pastor because it was fantastic! Being gluten free I got to have corn tortillas for mine.He was even nice enough to take a photo with us! Definitely make some time to head here! You won't be disappointed.“
“This was one of the first restaurants I tried in downtown DeLand on the Friday night "Farmers Market" and it was amazing. I got the Raver neighbor (pictured), and on another occasion the Plain Jane Neighbor. They both were excellent! I loved the flavors of both. It loses a star for service only because of that wait time, otherwise staff was very nice and accommodating. The homemade ranch is the bomb. As far as seating goes there's only 4 tables and chairs so when it's busy it's pretty hard to find a place to sit, but other than that I highly recommend.Parking: You will have to use the public parking in downtown DeLand. It's free. This business does not have a specific lot for it's business.“
“The value proposition here is better than the other Mexican chains in town. You get more food for your money. Also, almost as an aside, the plastic sauce containers have lids and it seems like I can find a use for them at some point, so they’re worth hanging on to (the sauces used to set Tijuana Flats apart from their competitors, but now others offer similar varieties).Try to eat your food right away. If you get your meal delivered and it has a chance to cool down, it isn’t nearly as good. That’s true of plenty of restaurants though.Something cool about the receipts is that they have a code associated with a survey. You can use your receipt for a free taco next time you get food from Tijuana Flats.“
“This was the first time my boyfriend and I had ever had tijuana flats and we were instantly greeted with a smile as an employee held the door open for us. The menu was easy to follow and there were a variety of choices! The server was so nice and answered all the questions I had regarding my food preferences.We didn't have to wait long for our food at all either, it came out so fast! The food exceeded our expectations: the portions were huge and there were more than enough chips for the both of us. We didn't stay long because of a family emergency and although we said we were dining in, a passing server was very polite and understanding when I asked for boxes.I absolutely would visit this location again if I have the chance :)Kid-friendliness: There were HUGE coloring sheets where you order for your little ones to grab and enjoy at the table.“
“This place is INSANELY good!!!! WOW! Had three tacos I wish I had gotten three more. From the tortilla, to the fixins, to the red sauce which SO FREAKIN GOOD and SPICY! I hope this place sets up shop and expands cause wow, best tacos I’ve had in deland no contest!“
