Apparently the chef did not know his cuts of steak I ordered a ribeye and they brought out a New York strip they replaced it and it was still wrong as they brought out a sirloin.

Very nice place. The building is over 100 years old and has a nice old world charm. The food was very good. They are known for their steaks and have some specials usually posted on the board. The ribeye was really good with the coffee crust. The glazed salmon was also very good. The fried mushrooms appetizer was excellent.The shrimp scampi fettuccine has very nice garlic butter wine sauce. Service was quick and our waiter was very attentive.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible ramp is to the side of the main entrance for dine in and outdoor eating area is parking level.

I love the Deland stockyard I live just a few blocks away from it. When I bought my house that was the first restaurant my son and I ate in and we both just loved it. The services is great. The food is great. They've got fantastic hamburgers that are bigger than what you can put in your mouth. They are just loaded with wonderful thingssuch as shredded onion rings. Try it you'll like it.

Ate there Thu night 2/22 and had the rib eye. $30 some dollars. Worst piece of meat. Stringy, tuff and cold, baked potato, cold and coleslaw was swimming in slaw dressing. My cousins rib eye was lousy too. Was with a party of 7 so I felt funny returning, if alone ... I'd have sent it back. Was there last year in May, my filet was stringy, sent it back. 2nd stringy too. 2 stars for my cocktail and fellowship with friends..
