We came hereppp for lunch and decided to try one of their lunch specials which sounded good and reasonable. My friend ordered a plain hamburger with potato salad. i ordered the 1/2 sandwich and soup. For the soup I picked the mushroom barley and it was good. I ordered the chicken salad on rye. I was concerned when I tasted the chicken salad that it was not fresh and i did not want to get sick from possibly spoiled food. Below average at best. Service was okay, breakfast side of fries was just hunks of potatoes that are fried- completely unseasoned. American cheese omelette had cheese on the inside and a barely melted slice sitting on top. On the upside, my mom LOVED her brisket sandwich and my husband's a big fan of the coffee. I didn't eat in, just grabbed some bagels and schmear for takeout. Usually Florida bagels aren't so great, but these were shockingly so good! The people who helped me at the counter were kind and efficient, too.
