It’s dead inside. Nothing like it use to be years ago.

Falafel pita was delicious! I knocked off a star though because my friend ordered rice with his schnitzel and you could tell that the rice was sitting out the whole day because it was hard and not very edible. Also, I love that they sell those imported grape drinks from Israel but they’re really expensive for the small fl oz you’re getting. I understand though because import fees and tax are crazy high these days…My advice is to keep your orders simple. Stick with the classics like falafel, shawarma, hummus platters, sabich, etc. and you won’t be disappointed. Hummus and tehini at this place is really creamy and smooth just how it is in Israel ✡️

Good kosher Israeli/middle eastern food in the back of a large flea market space (can park in the back parking lot). The restaurant was spacious, in a large open space, and was low key and casual, with at counter ordering (staff brings the food to your table). Ordered several falafel plates. The pita and falafel were great. The hummus and salad it was served with was good, but not great (I’ve had a lot of fresh hummus before and this tasted more like store bought hummus). Big portions, very filling. Staff was friendly

The food here is exceptional !!! Absolutely love Gila and Zev. I can't get enough of their food. It's the only place to go for authentic kosher Israeli food !!!!

A hidden gem of a restaurant. Excellent service, quality Israeli food, a colorful journey and culinary experience, tucked away in the back of a charming mini Manhattan. I'm a new regular. 10/10 would recommended.Dietary restrictions: All good is kosher through the ORB

The most disgusting food one could have.A very dirty, and rude other. The price of hummus and fava beans online is $10.50, the crooked owner charged me $16. His explanation was "I haven't had a chance to change the process online. If you have any respect for your digestive tract,DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE.

Absolutely delicious. I lived in Israel for a few years and this is the closest you will get. Everything from salad to dessert is perfection. Highly recommended.

My husband had the schwarma pita and loved it! Best falafel and the pita was super fresh and delicious. Not sure why people are not flocking to this restaurant to enjoy the food and the spacious area. Interesting flea market vibe. We enjoyed and will be back!

Awesome Service!!!!! ordered via Grubhub and I am assuming the owner actually called me to inform they were out of an Item and offered a replacement. Normally anyplace would have just not fulfilled and I would have had to dispute. Amazing food as well. Worked at a Mediterranean restaurant in college and the food was simply awesome!!!!!

Top notch soup, schnitzel, everything was great every day we went. Very pleasant group as well. I'll be going again. This place was hidden behind the building.

The best Falafel I had in I don’t know how long. The pita was fresh and the falafel was super tasty. I definitely recommend to eat here and I’ll be coming back for more.

First time we all came with a huge group it was amazing! Since then we never had a good dish. Something changed. Humus doesn't have that great fluffy texture and fresh taste. It almost tastes like it came from a container you would get at the supermarket. Portion size has shrunk considerably and they make it look like more by pouring very thin overly salted tahini on top with too much olive oil as well. What happened here I don't know but have tried them many times since our one good time and we are now closing the book on them. There are rarely more than a few people if any when we have come so they can't be doing great. Maybe since covid many places are changing the quality of their ingredients and portion sizes to reap some financial gain but I can't see how they think customers don't notice.

We came for lunch. We didn't realize that the restaurant is in the mini mart (the former Delray flea market building). It's located in the back corner -- just park in front, go inside, and walk past the stores. We enjoyed our food here. It was a bit eerie as we were the only ones dining at a table in the court. Although a few folks did stop by the restaurant for take out. We shared an Israeli salad -- chopped lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and parsley in a lemon and oil dressing. This was refreshing and paired well with our order of hummus with shawarma. (The portion was large and we brought some home.) The hummus was creamy. It was served in a circle on the plate. In the middle was stacked the seasoned grilled dark meat chicken with onions -- the shawarma. It was quite good. The pita was soft and fluffy; more thick and bread like. Also good. The restaurant is kosher, so they close early on Friday (3 pm) and are closed on Saturdays; but are open for all meals Sunday through Thursday. In addition to hummus, they have daily platters. You can see some of the food selections at the counter. Overall, it was very good although no frills and like eating at the mall food court -- but with better fare. And if you like hummus, it's definitely worth trying.
