We were a party of 8..various appetizers and main courses.. each dish was wonderful and the portions not only full of flavor but generous . We were all nicely full.We had foie gras, escargot,French onion soup, and 3 different salads.Main courses we had from tenderloin, large shrimp, rainbow trout almondine,Salmon, coq au vin. Sides were veggies,risotto, mashed,fries, rice.Desserts were very nice. I couldn't finish mine, I was done.Our waiter was Becca. No idea how she handled us lolMake reservations .. valet parking , just was all done to make a fine dining experience.

I must honestly say I have been living in Boca for the last seven years, however, kept wanting to visit your restaurant some strange reason and never did felt little intimidated. However, tonight was the best experience I’ve ever had the service Debbie at the bar, the chef, the avians, the atmosphere, the people Out of this world and hold on one minute the food was totally amazing and I am extremely happy and will be visiting RESTURANT much more at least once a week. Thank you again for the very pleasant experience as I said Everthing number one number one.

We did thanksgiving there so some people got a prixe fixe, turkey dinner. I had the duck which is served in a cherry sauce. Everything was delicious. Ownership and the staff were alert and on point. Have to say again how good the food is.Dietary restrictions: Accommodated my gluten, dairy, and soy allergies.
We were in town for the Tulane vs Florida Atlantic football game and found this restaurant on Yelp. The food was great. I had the steak which was served at the correct temperature and was delicious and my wife had the lamb chops which she enjoyed. Our server was knowledgeable and personable. The ambiance was good. Would definitely come back.

My husband surprised me with a birthday party at La Cigale. When meeting with Francis my husband said he was so wonderfully accommodating to all of his requests. He helped choose a special menu. I had the smoked salmon as an appetizer and it was delicious and the branzino for my main course it was perfect. One of my guests said her filet mignon was so tender she could have just used her fork to cut it. The staff were so attentive to all of our guests, not a bread basket was left empty or a glass unfilled.I want to thank Francis and everyone who worked that night for making my birthday so memorable.

Nice ambiance and greeting. Oh well. I ordered the cioppino. The broth was just okay and the seafood was a big disappointment. The squid and tiny bay scallops were way over cooked and so rubbery. I have never seen bay scallops in a nice restaurant like this. They overcook in 2 minutes. Someone should have told the chef. I didn't eat it. No concern by the waiter. The waiter was attentive in the beginning, but what are you going to do when you don't want to ruin the evening by sending your food back? We also ordered cappuccinos and dessert after we were able to get the attention of the waiter. The whole staff seem to be more interested in setting up the tables for the next day. The dessert was eaten before the cappuccinos finally arrived. The 3 others at my table said that the food was less in taste than was expected, but a real thumbs up on the escargot.
