Nice spot on Atlantic Ave, with an upscale atmosphere. Staff was friendly but they seemed to be a bit too busy to keep up with excellent service. Both dishes were got were off the charts - we’d go back to repeat this meal for sure. My wife had the octopus app plus a caesar salad (only thing that was not great - the dressing was a bit plain). I had the skirt steak, which was perfectly cooked and the sauce and sides were on point. Definitely trying it again soon.

Amazing food and service. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Try the Lionfish Ceviche to start and I recommend you try lots of dishes and appetizers to share with others. Everything was unique and delicious! Travis was our waiter amd between him and the team of servers we had a truly soecial dining experience.

My husband and I went for our 2 year wedding anniversary tonight and it was nothing special. I called the day before to reiterate it was a wedding anniversary and we showed up and the hostess didn’t have a table ready for us. She frantically tried to find a table to clean and sat us there. No special champagne or dessert or anything to make us feel special. I mentioned I am vegetarian and the server didn’t make any recommendations for me. My husband ordered the most expensive item on the menu, the $160 tomahawk steak and the server acted surprised. It was very mediocre and took the female server over 10 minutes to quality check if our entrees were okay. Both of our drinks were empty and took twice for her to come around to ask for another drink. I bought a dress specifically for this dinner and there was no where to take an anniversary picture and no one offered when we tried to take one in a dirty mirror. Disappointing at every moment.

Went with party of 4 plus 5yo. Service was adequate but not prompt as we had to wait a few times. Not great follow up by wait staff. Some of the table was happy with their order and some not. "Chicken and Dumplings", Brussel sprouts were not cooked enough and just because the dish has dumplings and chicken in it doesn't qualify as such. Certainly not like any chicken and dumplings I've ever had. I'd give that dish a 3 out of 10 and wouldn't order again. The spicy potato side dish was excellent. Drinks were weak.It is pricy with tip included, $507 for 4 and 1/2 people.?

The food was phenomenal!Every bite was delicious and I'll be coming back to enjoy their amazing scallops soon. They were also extremely attentive to a gluten allergy in our party and I'd easily trust them to navigate dietary restrictions. The only negatives were how loud it got and they were a bit understaffed.Dietary restrictions: They were extremely attentive to a gluten allergy in the party.

Really enjoyable spot with a nice bar and excellent food. The spicy octopus was great, as was the “berserk” sushi roll. Solid choice of bourbons at the bar as well. Very much recommend.

We had a terrible experience at Lionfish. The noise level was so loud we could not hear anyone at our table. Ordered a Manhattan cocktail and they couldn't make it due to being out of sweet vermouth...are you kidding me! We had one appetizer and left. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. In fact, we are telling all our friends to avoid it completely.

We had a really nice dinner and Trevor was an amazing waiter. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. The hostess called prior to our reservation time to clarify where our table would be (at a high top), but then was able to seat us at a regular table when we arrived. Good job Lionfish!

The service was great. The atmosphere was great. The food half of the food was ok. The grouper and the snapper were good. The 2 of us that got the black and blue skirt stake got a VERY tough piece of meat. It was cooked to the level we asked, but it was so tough my first bite I thought I was going to choke. After that, I cut it into tiny pieces and still had to chew it 50 or 60 times to be able to swallow it. I know skirt stake is sometimes a tougher cut, but this wasn't even in the top 40, and I have only had it 40 times. The seasonings were nice. We started with the tuna tower, and that was good. The brussel sprouts and grilled asparagus were both very good. Good thing the blood orange margaritas were great. Didn't make up for the entrées not being up to standard at $100 a person, but we had a fun time. We had desert somewhere else.

It was 2 pm Sunday and wanted to have a nice special celebration lunch with my wife. Unfortunately they only served a very limited brunch menu all with eggs and very few other alternatives. I responded this to be a special celebration in the web site but did not feel like they care. We ended up having two burguers. There was not a fair wine selection. They have only 4 merlot in the menú (malbet at around 65$ and rest above 90$-120$). We ordered Malbec and they came back saying they did not have. We asked for other merlot by the glass and no success. They offered to bring a left over from a bottle of Malbec not enough to fill a regular order which I thought at least would be complementary. Sure! They charge 15$ each for it.

Beautiful restaurant. We sat at the bar for a date night. Crispy rock shrimp were bomb. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is nicely designed with a great ambiance. Service was outstanding (Cass). Our issue was the portion size for dinner. Although tasty, 3 scallops for dinner ($48) and sparse lamb chops ($53) were disappointing. Perhaps eating on Valentine's Day had something to do with it.
