The food that was served to the table was great but the service was horrible! We were ignored most of the evening and it was hot because the air conditioning wasn’t working right they said. I was dying for a glass of water and the server didn’t come. I went to the bar and waited while staff stood around. It was too loud for them to hear me and when someone finally came over, she shot me a nasty look. She was not happy about having to fill my water cup. Then we waited for over 20 minutes for the check. I wanted to pay right away but again was ignored. I asked another waitress but she said she couldn’t help. I had to go to the back of the restaurant twice to get someone to finally take my card. I’ve been here before and it was never this bad. We also ordered a burger and fries to go. We should have looked before we left bc it was burnt and not edible and the fries were soggy. It was my birthday dinner too. Also, valet service was terrible. Wr waited over 25 min to get the car.

I had a great experience thanks to Sofia! What a loving hard working lady even tho the place was busy she still managed to take care of us. Food was okay but she made the experience memorable.

I can not believe a restaurant on the Ave has the audacity to serve this… not only are the lamb chops extremely tiny, they charge $35 for this during lunch!! I do not recommend at all. I left hungry and robbed.

Have ordered for delivery several times and found that eating in, the food wasn't quite as good. Go figure. Not sure why. But our server Elizabeth was outstanding ... very helpful and a pleasure to have her at our table.

I dined with a group of 8 and were seated inside. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is lively & fun, but the music was so loud and relentless that you could only speak with the people seated next to you. Late evening Dancing on the tables leaves the table top surface pretty sticky & grimy feeling. I recommend sitting at the outdoor tables for more manageable music volume & cleaner tables!

Best service! Food is always great here, but this time the service was the best we've had at Opa! Sophia was amazing! So efficient and precise as well as warm and friendly. Request Sophia!

Service was awful... waiter took order...runner brought food and never saw our server again for at least 30 minutes. Never asked if we wanted another drink. Sat with dishes in front of us for 30 minutes. Restaurant was not that busy.

Arrived for a 5:30pm reservation. 2 tables were seated inside, a few customers at bar. A few tables outside. We were not treated for about 30min and finally when a server did come over he simply stated there was a “shift change” and walked away. Rather odd that he wouldn't even take a drink order for whatever server was coming in or behind. Our server finally arrived to take our order after 45min of us being seated. We were obviously ready for our order to be taken so we gave a drink and food order. Drinks took another 15min. Prior to drinks arriving we debated leaving based on this experience and as we were about to get up the drinks arrived. Appetizer (olives and feta) was what you would expect. Main entrees were bland all around (filet mignon, beef kabobs, lamb chops). A disappointing Mother's Day dinner to say the least. Won't likely repeat.

So a very noisy place with a Turkish belly dancer v loud music in a Greek Restaurant simply does not work wrong culture mix was delayed waiting for entree for 1 hr having to listen to that ... Food was good and good value - we made res and still had to wait even though empty tables ...

The food ranged from delicious (Spanikopita) to meh - my allegedly grilled shrimp definitely were not grilled and weren't that tasty. Our waiter, Trevor, was terrific and delightful, including returning my wine which I knew wasn't what I had ordered and I was right.

I can confirm that this is very authentic and there is very exquisite food. There are many different varieties of food such as saganaki, lamp chops, many types of fish, chicken kabobs, etc. There are also many tasteful drinks but for some of them, you have to be over 21. Everyone is very polite, kind, and respectful. Perfect place for a long sit down dinner or quick dinner, medium length dinner, and also for lunch. My personal favorite are the lamp chops that are made with love. 110% suggest coming here, I have come so many times and this place never fails me. I suggest Sofia as she is the best waitress.

Great authentic Greek food. Staff was short so service was not the best but it wasn't bad either. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic first visit. We did the Zeus family style dinner and the avalanche of food was incredible. The meats were outstanding and Spiros our waiter made the evening awesome. Great experience.

Still remains one of our favorite restaurants when we visit from home. Hummus and pita bread is so so good!! Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals- chicken kabob, lamb gyro, mousaka, even the yiayia vegetables- authentic and delish!!

Service was lackadaisical and spotty and slow. Food was average quality except for the gyro wraps. Whole fish diners were overpriced along with the lamb chops. There was only a quarter potato with the meal which should have been at least a half. Lamb chops were dry and over cooked.
