Our first meals were takeout, and then we decided to eat at the restaurant, itself. The takeout was very good, but the meal at Zimi was really very good. The pasta is made there, the food is not salty, and it it served hot. All of the staff seemed to attentive to the customers without being overbearing, including our waitress. Wow. Great local place. Tried it for the first time and will definitely come back. The staff is great. Nick behind the bar really took care of us. The Italian chopped salad was phenomenal. Like my grandmother used to make. The penne a la vodka was great.I can't wait to come back and try their other dishes.
I was there for a Steve Fox Socialite event with 200 other people. The 4 bartenders were fast and on the ball. The NY style pizza was good. Wings were great. We look forward to returning for a sit down dinner and perhaps happy hour.
