This is my new local go to Jamaican spot! I have driven by the food truck located in a gas station parking lot a couple times but I couldn't stop because I was on my way to an appointment. Today I finally had the time to give them a try. The food was very authentic and the service was friendly. We ordered the small oxtail plate, jerk chicken, and curry chicken, all were delicious. We will definitely be back!

I'm always down to find a good local Jamaican food spot ....and I found one! Although it's a food truck, don't sleep because I've been to many food trucks that are way better than brick and mortars. When I arrived at the end of the parking lot where the truck is situated, (diagonally across the street from Justin Square), I was met by what seemed to be a family-owned and run business. Pops was in the back of the cool-looking truck smoking some meats, Momma was taking orders and serving, and Junior was was helping out. If I am correct, then Jam Rock Country Style J*** is even more endearing to me than it already is! Ok, onto the food. So of course I have to always order my favorite go-to meal: J*** chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, and cornbread. The small order was $10 or you can go for the large at $13. I also had to order order a beef patty and a pineapple Jamaican soda. I must say, everything was IRIE! This makes me very happy because I will be a "regular" here, so they better get to know me :) The j*** chicken was smoked well and you could just taste the wonderful smoke and spices. The rice and peas were good, not hard or soggy. The cornbread was good and I was happy to have been given a pretty large piece. The cabbage was also good. I haven't eaten the beef patty yet but it looks really good and authentic like I loved back in NYC. I really have no complaints. What put this experience over the top for me was when Momma asked me if I wanted ox-tail gravy over the rice! Ummm...YES, and MORE please!

Not only is the food fresh and delicious, it's the cleanest food truck ever. The aroma of the Curry, J**** Pepper as you wait for your lunch or dinner. It's worth the long lines for the wait. Homemade Mac & Cheese made with love. Top off with large portions.Yes, that's right! I'm a foodie.... Imagine what it would like in paradise.. You only need the vegetables. However, for now.. Enjoy your Caribbean food.LOVE HOME COOK MEALS!

If you're looking for AUTHENTIC jamaican food, this is it!! Born and raised in Jamaica, it's hard to find places with the true flavor of home. The j*** chicken, j*** pork and rice and peas are so good! The meat is so tender and not dry at all. The perfect amount of spice and smoke. If you can't make a trip to Jamaica then this is the next best thing! Completely worth the 2.5 hr drive.
