An amazing place to eat. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend to my family and friends.

The music here is too loud and not everyone likes to listen to Christian music that loud while trying to eat. The service is extremely slow and the food is mediocre.

Horrible service and I don't plan to return. We went around 6:00 and the girl was already looking at us from inside with a look on her face. The blonde hadn't even entered and she already wanted to leave. She took our order with a look on her face and we waited for the food and while someone else was He was going to enter and he saw how she looked and said she's not happy off. I turned around and left like that, they don't serve customers and I've been going since they opened it and it's been about a year since the food has been there and the taste isn't the same either.

We seen this spot and figured we give it a try. First off customer service is very poor, they have a young lady who pays more attention to her cell phone over customers. Wait time is too long and even getting our drinks had to be bought to her attention. The food was basic tasting, guess if your hungry you'll eat it. The atmosphere was nice, clean and price was not over the top. For us Sabor Lation is a one and done and we will not recommend eating here. Orlando and Kissimmee have the better eating spots.

Slightly underwhelmed, sadly. While it's been a while since I last ate here, this evening's meal was just ok.We ordered to go over the phone, and while I can speak Spanish, I'm not fluent. The young woman who answered did not speak any English. After ordering via my broken Spanish I just thought this community is minority Latino, and thus, you're cutting out a significant segment of the population that loves Spanish food.In any case, we ordered the garlic sauce mofongo with shrimp and mofongo with steak and shrimp. Here's where it fell short. The mofongo wasn't as flavorful as I would have hoped, it was not garlicky at all, the steak which was supposed to be churrasco (skirt steak) lacked flavor as well as was not skirt steak. Here's where they hit the mark, the shrimp and steak portion was perfect, the mofongo portion was perfect (maybe a little too much). The mofongo was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the empanadas sampler and an alcapurria, and both of those were flavorful and done right.Overall, it's a solid 4 stars, but not amazing.

We went for lunch on a Saturday for the first time and the place is nicely decorated and the lady server was very nice and accommodating. We had the mofongo with chicharrones and a shrimp soup(asopao de camarones) which were very good. The only thing I would modify is the type of music played since they had religious music and video. I understand that we are free to express our religious beliefs but this should be on the place of worship, at home, in your car, with your ear piece but not in a restaurant where you get all type of customers. In a restaurant you would expect popular music from the country or culture to match the experience of the cuisine, otherwise you run the risk of not capturing repeat clients, but that’s the owner decision to make and risk to take. I believe in God, but understand that there’s a place for worship and it shouldn’t feel as imposed on a place where you go to enjoy food and expect a regular family atmosphere.

The food lacks salt. The service, the girl is very friendly but I think it's bad that they have only one person to take orders, wait on tables, serve food, charge, answer the phone, etc. Which makes the service extremely slow and the food is brought little by little. They don't bring the complete order. We arrived at 12 and they no longer had many of the things on the menu just half an hour after opening. It is unacceptable that a food place that gets so busy has so few staff. My work group and I were regular customers and it seems to me today was our last time here.

I had high expectations and had been wanting to try this place. We Went in for lunch today and weren’t impressed. They didn’t have rice and beans, no steak (only churrasco which didn’t taste as good quality churrasco) and no chicken or ice. So limited in options to begin with but then the quality of both dishes were just okay for the value. My guess, giving benefit of the doubt, is that the main chef is on vacation and someone not that great was cooking or things were previously cooked and just reheated. Might give them another try another day when they have more options.

Not all puertarican food is equal. There is a difference depending on which family member prepares it. This place has high level food. Taste of the island. Better than your grandma's rice and beans.
