I normally don’t eat Wendy’s due to it being out of my normal way home but today I decided to swing in. Upon entering there were wet floor signs up and the black rug near the self service area was soaked, which is understandable since accidents happen, however rather than pick up the rug they left the wet rug on the tile and the water was seeping out the sides. After a few minute wait the cashier addressed me, I showed her the app which was having errors. I wanted to use the $3 off $15 mobile app order however the app would not add items to the basket. Confused, the cashier got the manager to see if they had ever seen this issue. The female manager had not seen such an issue before and stated that there is nothing she can do about the app not working. I agree and asked her if it would be possible to order with her and reduce the price by approximately $3. She said she’d have to look for a $3 coupon and after looking at the register said there was nothing she could do to help me and that sometimes “they try to entice people to use the app and it just doesn’t work.” I then asked if I’d at least be able to order the $15 family deal, she looked in the computer and said yes they have that. After saying that she walked away and returned to her normal business. I waited in front of the register almost another 3-4 minutes while cashier after cashier looked at me and went about there business before the manager asked one of the cashiers to ring me out. I told her what I wanted to order and she said she doesn’t know of such a combo and called the manager back over to us. Thankfully the manager showed her how to ring out the item and we proceeded with the transaction. The cashier left before I could even show my rewards or put my card in. She didn’t return to the register until after I retrieved my own receipt and walked away. After waiting for my order to be called, which was about another 10-15 minutes, the manager says “hello!, your food is ready. Did you not hear us call you?” At that point I said “no, because no one ever told me it was ready” and I walked out. Overall this was the worst experience i I ever had at this location. I don’t expect to be treated like royalty by any means but I do expect to be acknowledged and offered solutions to issues that I as a customer have zero ability to resolve on my own.
