I gave this place a try since it has four stars, but that ended up being a really bad decision. The food was AWFUL and OLD!!! I ordered asada and carnitas tacos on a Satuday afternoon. The asada was extremely dry, not hot, and lacked flavor. I took one bite of the carnitas and immediately spat it out since it tasted like it was cooked at least 3 days ago and was very dry. I waited over 10 minutes after ordering only to be served not made to order, not fresh, room temp food. I was the only person in there and they weren't making any other orders. The cilantro and onions were appropriate, but the food is disgusting overall. I'm praying I don't get food poisoning from the few bites I swallowed, smh.

These tacos are my life blood. Anyone who don't have 5 stars can catch a fade.

The food was gross. The meat was dry and they forgot our salsa. The steak was burnt to a crisp. The quesadilla and rice were so greasy. It was almost inedible. We won’t be back.

I ordered asada burrito. Meat was probably double cooked. It was completely black and tough as rubber..

The food is awesome! If you are looking for real, authentic Mexican food, this IS your place. If you're looking for a place that speaks decent English or has great seating, this is NOT your place. Prices are a bit high but you won't be disappointed in the quality. The prices are what you'd expect from a place that's a few blocks from the beach on 98. They share the space with an Exxon fuel station and a Skippers Dock Seafood Market/Restaurant. Their breakfast is one of the best in town and look for great lunch & dinner specials daily. Burritos are massive and you will get a lot of food. We enjoy their homemade red hot sauce and they make a mild version too. They also have some of the best open hours in Destin.

Would give this place a 5 star rating, but we are missing a dip and chips to go along with it. Overall the service was decent and I would go again

(Hit the LIKE BUTTON plz)I love a good hole in the wall authentic Mexican place. It was located in a gas station. I got 4 steak tacos and the corn tortilla tasted great with the steak and cilantro. I would recommended anyone try that like authentic Mexican!

Food is pretty good. Price isn't crazy heavy but, I think the price for the food and atmosphere could be better.Very nice people.

Exactly the kind of food we were looking for. Huevos rancheros/huevos con chorizo/ huevos mexicana all tasty. We loved the tacos and burritos. Everything was delicious. Maracuyá was tasty. I learned that this is passion fruit

The food has changed. Tacos are bland and dry. My steak taco was just fat from the steak. Service is horrible from one of the workers up front.

Not good most of the time. Corn tortillas taste gross. Asada is dry. Salsas are flavorless. I've been about 30 times over the years. Probably tasted good 10 times of 30. Better with lots of cervesas. Usually it's better quality when the owners are there.

The service here is awful and food isn’t much better. The cashier worker Mario I believe is his name is rude and racist. I came in to place an order he was on a phone call and told me to wait. A Hispanic family came in after me and he quickly took their order. There are better places to get a tacos with better food and
